I want to buy a gift for my husband to be and give it to him the day before the wedding. Any idea's? He is not into novelty items...i want to give him something he will love....

i've heard of money clips and cufflinks and watches, but to me, the truth is, if your fiance is anything like mine he a) won't use them and b)most likely he'll end up either losing them or breaking them accidentally. my fiance is into fencing and swordfighting, so i was thinking of ordering a really nice sword for him, and engraving it with our names and the wedding date, then he can carry it a our ceremony. (the only problem, i have no idea where to find someone to custom make one!!) it really just depends on your husbands interests. if he likes golf, get him a nice set of clubs (if you can afford it) or something like that, that he'll like and that he'll use!
also, someone else mentioned this, but you could get him an engagemtn ring type thing as well. i gave my fiance a medallion, that we got made at the Ren. Faire where we got engaged. it has a celtic knot heart on one side, and an owl for protection on the otehr. for our anniversary this year, i got him a poesy ring that says in gaelic, i am my beloved's and my beloved is mine. he wears it on his right hand as well, and he really likes it. you could always do something liek that!

I gave my husband an engagement ring also. (Not before the wedding though) The stone is a moonstone and it is really cool.
He loved it because it doesn't look anything like his wedding band- he wears it on his right hand .He wears it everyday and if anyone asks, he proudly tells then that it was an engagment gift from his wife.
a very nice watch would be nice too.

how about a new watch that you have engraved or tickets to a favorite sporting event or concert or something.
