Bubbles!! they come in a clear/ white bottle at the Party City store, and then you tie a curling ribbon on it to match the color of your tables. They can blow bubbles while waiting for food, and it will look really cool, and they can take them home as an inexpensive favor and refill it!!!
my friend did that!
Love it!

I would take a square(1 for each guest) of tulle in one of your wedding colors put a small handful of hersheys kisses in the center gather into a small bundle tie with a piece of ribbon in the other wedding color. i would also attach a little tag that has your monogram and the date of the wedding. you can do this for REALLY CHEAP! or you can get a heart shaped cookie cutter and wrap it the same way. A wedding I went to had a fake rose on each plate with a tag that had the couples names with the date on it

Um one wedding i went to had little bottles bubbles and we blew those at the couple instead of throwing rice... Another had glasses with the couple's name on them (that quickly peeled off though).
It really depends on how many guests you have. I would get some custom-colored M&Ms and put them in little bags... and put little thank you cards with pictures with them.
Oo! Also if you already know what songs are going to be playing at your wedding you could make a cd of them, including a recorded thank you message... or a picture cd! I mean, blank cds are not terribly expensive, and you could recruit your family and friends to help you if you start early enough.

I just did my cousins party favors for his wedding this weekend. All you do is go to the dollar store and buy packs of tulle, after dinner, mints and ribbon.
Place like 10 mints in the center of the tulle, gather it up, tie ribbon around it and you are done. I also bought this plastic silver rings that has a white ribbon attached to you and secured it around the top of the favor. If you need help contact me and i can walk you thru it or can do them for you. They are very easy and inexpensive to do.

Yes...here's a lovely idea...I went to a wedding probably 20 years ago...really...and there were these cute little porcelain trinket boxes at every place setting...probably nothing expensive at all...maybe a dollar if you bought in bulk...they were white porcelain with two little doves and a pink rose on top...inside they had those candy coated almonds (famous at weddings...Jordan almonds I think they are called)...wrapped in tulle (netting, like the kind rice bags or birdseed bags are done in, you know?)...they were sweet and I (HONESTLY) still have that trinket box from that wedding...I loved the idea and, unless you break them, are eternal...sweet, romantic, elegant, and inexpensive. Good luck and best wishes.

recently i went to a wedding that gave cd's of the music played at the reception as gifts. you can buy 50 burnable cds for about $20, and you probably already have most of the songs you want to have played during your wedding and reception (even if you dont, you can buy most of them on itunes, and even get ideas for songs on their wedding playlist). then take squares of stiff wrapping paper and fold them around the cd's so you don't have to buy cases. if you want to stay really cheap, the paper should be strong enough to hold the folds and you wont need ribbon. print out some labels that say "_____ &_____'s wedding memories" and stick them on the front.

you dont pick to apply chocolate or any type of sweet that ought to soften. i'd try lollipops and jellibeans interior the bag. Very lovable and straightforward to locate interior the colors you pick, there is also those rock sweet on a stick issues that look like crystals which will be truly lovable. you could also make your own lillipop candys getting molds and recipes on-line. I had a buddy who became in a position to make hers with her monogrammed initial.

How about buying really nice, cute favor boxes and fill them with mints? The site below has mints @ $9.25/lb (650 hearts per pound). With this, you can have nice, edible favor for less than $2 each :-) Congrats!!
