I wanted to have my wedding dress made but the fiance came and picked a thousand dollar wedding dress that is very pretty.But I am kind of thick and the dress is very puffy but pretty. He want it to be cranberry red which I have no problem with that I am tired of the tradition of white or off white anyway. I think that I can carry the color but the puffiness of it is a bother. I have thighs and a butt that is curvy what do you think you will not see that but will it make me look bigger than what I am.

It is your wedding,and you need to have it the way you want so your wedding will be perfect and memorable.If you don't like the puffy dress ,don't get it,let him know that you would whether have it designed and made the you want it,plus let him know it needs to be a surprise to him,of what your wedding dress looks like.

Go with it. If you are not going to see your thighs and butt anyway it shouldnt matter. Im impressed that he picked out a dress for you. If you can talk to a seamstress about toning down the puffiness in some way that would alter the dress to both of your liking thats what I would do. If the skirt is the "puffy" issue I wouldnt worry about it. if it is the sleeves there are ways of fixing that

If you don't like it, don't get it!!! TRUST me on this one! You want to look and feel like a million bucks on your Big Day, and you won't if you're all paranoid about how big your butt looks or whatnot!
Nicely explain to your fiance that you appreciate his help, but you are going to decide on the design. Tell him you want to totally surprise and wow him. If he throws a hissy fit over something this trivial, you might have a bigger problem than your dress design! Good luck!

if you really like this dress get it altered to take some of the puffiness away. but if your doubting this dress don't wear it you will regret it.

You want to be comfortable in the dress, pick what you feel is right to wear

ok put it on and look at him/her and say in a very sad voice and give them the eyes "ii love the dress but..... iim just so fat. May ii please go get is altered or get a new one?"
and that will probably work remember you might hurt the other

it depends on how the top is cut, i am think to but if you get the right style it will look good on you
