What do you want to do. It's your wedding and it's important that you have fun. Your not going to please everyone. your guest s are there for you. Don't stress, do what you want, your guests will have a great time, if you are having fun.

I hate receiving lines. I believe in the Southern tradition that a host/hostess comes forward to greet their guests, not have their guests stand in line like a chain gang.

I also hate when the guests are left hanging at the reception for 2 or 3 hours while the wedding party is taking pictures. If the reception needs to start later, TELL EVERYONE! :)

Cash bar, in my opinion, is OK to a point. If you do a cash bar, you should at least offer a keg of beer.

I'm picky, just a warning. :)

Any token wedding music...electric slide, chicken dance. Butterfly kisses...that's another song that makes me want t gag. Sorry, I know it's very popular at weddings, but it's so popular I can't stand it. I also personally don't like really long slide shows. I think they can be done nice, I've seen some great ones, but my cousin had a 20 minute long show. It was so long they used the same pictures 2 or 3 times. Cake smashing in faces is something else I can't stand. And I don't like being forced into joining in on things. If you do the bouquet or garter toss, don't make people get involved if they don't want to. I know those are tradition & I don't mind them, I just don't want to try to catch flowers. I've had two receptions stop so everyone could yell at me to join in.

Honestly, receiving lines, especially at the reception. Even if I know the couple really well, it doesn't necessary mean I know their families well. I hate going up to people whom I don't know and having to say something. I just like when the bride and groom go around from table to table. I also hate cash bars.

I hate dinners that take up too much time..its like lets get to the dancing already!!!! who wants to eat anyway??? I think buffet style is great because you can choose when you want to eat...one wedding I went to it literally took like 2 hours for the 'dinner part' to be over. BORING!!! Just when we started to have fun the wedding was over.

You can not please everyone and it is your day, you should never worry about what everyone else is going to think of what you are doing.. Have a blast get married. But the worst thing is the drunk old men that are hitting on the younger women lol.. dirty old farts, but cant stop them.... good luck and congrats

Cash bar! I don't agree with having to pay for my own drink.

I hate when the bride starts crying, or when the DJ plays lame music.
