Singles & Dating - 25 December 2007

My boyfriend and I of 3 years and 8 months recently broke up. This is the second time this has happened and is around the sametime of year. Everything was going great we were getting along great. He was even bringing me dinner!!! He just thought we should take time to ourselves since we are in our first semester of college and we are so stressed. It has now been 5 weeks. Throughout it though I was asked on a date and I didn't go and he knows that but he still wants to pout at me about it. The other day he said that he thinks of me everyday and catches hiself wanting to pick up the phone and call even though we have talked at least once a week throughout this. However he said he still doesn't know if we will get back together, but feels that hopefully everything will work out in time. Will he come back around?? Should I just "disappear" for a few week and then pop back up after I have given things time or will he already be over it?

i've been dating this guy for a year , and we both loves each other, and i know he loves me and i know i love him much more than he does me...
but...........he left me for christmas and went home to his parents (its his mothers bday too)
its not the first itme he is leaving me , but before we would swear he would not do it again ever to me,
i spend this christmas alone, i couldnt go to see my parents abroad and he knows it , but still left me,
he wont introduce me to his parents either because he is afraid of them,.. they want him to take a girl from his background and i am not
i am tired of hearing i love you but i have to go
what should i do?
i love him so much but cant take it anymore either
i feel lonely

We broke up in April. He still loved me and i loved him i just needed some time to think or get things together. Well now he has a girlfriend. I know he still cares about me and i told him how i felt and how much i miss him. He simply says he has a girlfriend now. His girlfriend and i have already had it out because she read his mail when i told hime how i felt. I need him, i know i cant be without him. Please what should i do to get him back? She just isnt right for him. She already has done things to make him question his "love" for her. All ten months we were together we never had an arguement, noe did i do anything to hurt him.

A few days ago, I told this guy I've been dating for about 6 months that I don't want a relationship. We agree to remain close, and close friends, we've been through hell and back together these 5 months, including a pregnancy that lead to a miscarriage...

anyhow. he gave me a giftcard to a spa... he chose for me to get a manicure and massage, saying that I never would spend the money on myself so he will. It came to $109, as it says on the certificate. He says he doesn't want it back. But he bought it when he thought him and i would eventually be in a relationship. What to do?

I just broke up with my girlfriend and it's getting hard to deal with it. I still love her and care for her, and still want to be with her... but I just can't. I mean she said she'd take me back but I can't. I told her I wouldn't hurt her and I need numerous times, and I treated her wrong, even though she claims I didn't. I acted like a asshole the night before we broke up and it really got to me to the point were I couldn't cope with it and just had to break up with her. Anybody know how I deal with this or do about this?

Okay. I am at the age when you have urges. No, not sex urges, other urges. I want to have a boyfriend that will hold me and kiss me all the time. I have urges to make out *blush* with my crushes and stuff like that. Danny is this guy i know from when i was younger. He is 22, and i am 18 (almost 19) now, and at a get together, we hung out. After about 5 hours of him flirting with me, he gave me his number and asked me to call him. Our parents both gave us money to shop for clothes, so he wanted to shop with me at the mall. Even though I have known him for a long time, i don't know him well. All i know is he is HOOOOT, basically from what i can tell, amazing, but he has had many many girlfriends. Actually a month ago his ex left him for another guy which was hard for him. If he likes me or if there is more to this. You guys know about as much as i do, i don't know if i trust him or not. He is the only guy ever to make me feel nervous. Weird. Should i call him and go shopping? Or what do you suggest? I kinda want to get to know him better....I don't know what to do!

I've been seeing this guy for a while now.

The other night he started gently strangling me around the neck with his hands when we were having sex (I was on top).. it was really kinda weird because he didn't ask but he did it really gently (and I trust him and know he would stop if I said to stop).

I think he might have a thing for it because although this is the first time, previous times he's kind of... I don't know but there's been a lot of pressure around my airways before when I'm on the bottom and sometimes the pillow ends up a little across my neck, kinda hard to explain.

Even when they say they're not going to, which in my case was the exact night before, and he did anyways. I didn't even plan on doing anything with him, but it just happened. So actual intercourse though.

It sucks because he's a really good friend and I don't want him ignoring me.

Ill try to make this short and sweet, I met this guy at college and he is a great guy, I have no complaints about how well he has treated and respected me, but here is the problem, I have a hard time committing to a relationship, always have. And the problem is I feel like we are on separate paths, and backgrounds, and I come from a great family, but a dad who thinks no one will ever be good enough for me, and I just want to bring someone home that they will be proud of, and I feel like he isnt that guy, and in the back of my head I feel like he isnt the one, and some people tell me that they knew the instant they met there one. Help me, because I'm just so confused if i should keep on dating him?

Ok I'm 15 and there is this dude that I go to school with. Recently he told me on aim that he likes me and I told him that I liked him back also. After that we talked on aim like 2 or 3 times and not at school b/c its during winter break. The last time we talked on aim he gave me his number and he said "you should call me" but it was 1 something at night so I didn't call him. After that time we haven't really talked on aim b/c he never signs on anymore. And I know that he's on the computer b/c I see him on myspace everyday but we don't talk on there. What happened? I was with this girl seriously for about 16 months, had a ton of fun with her, highly enjoyed her company, we connected extremely well. The last month or two we were facing some distance issues, were 50 minutes apart, but it was just going going to be temporary. Well, one day she breaks up with me over the phone and was extremely mean about it. Won't return calls or anything, totally drops me out of her life in 60 seconds. Add to that, she has a new b/f almost instantly, so it was obviously lined up while she was still with me. I cut all contact with her. Month or two passes and she's messaging me on yahoo, every other week or so, starts telling me she misses us, etc. I finally get an email from her that states she thinks about us and our memories all the time, realizes what a true connection and bond we really did have, and is hinting that she wants to work things out and maybe try it again even if it takes time. Need opinions if I should let her back into my life, or let her go?

My hands get really sweaty( iam searously thinking of getting botox in my hands) I really like my girlfriend and i want to hold hands. I feel like a failure cuz i dont wan to make her hands sweaty. 1.)I've been friends with this girl for a few months, she had a boyfriend then, but he cheated on her a couple months ago, so I was there to cheer her up of course. (She already had some rebound guy)
2.) We started talking seriously while I was vacationing in Florida. She'd ask me to call her, and always wanted to talk with me etc... and our conversations would be long and great.
3.) I get back, and hang out with her a few times, and we had a great time together, she'd always want to be close to me and cuddle. Continued the good late night phone conversatons and everything.
4.) One random night, she goes to a friends house, and comes back home having a new boyfriend, that I'm assuming her friend hooked her up with.
5.) Now she won't even talk to me, and I'm wondering what the hell I could have done, or what could possibly have gone through her head. She won't even talk as friends, or respond to my IMs, or anything...i dont get it
