i've been dating this guy for a year , and we both loves each other, and i know he loves me and i know i love him much more than he does me...
but...........he left me for christmas and went home to his parents (its his mothers bday too)
its not the first itme he is leaving me , but before we would swear he would not do it again ever to me,
i spend this christmas alone, i couldnt go to see my parents abroad and he knows it , but still left me,
he wont introduce me to his parents either because he is afraid of them,.. they want him to take a girl from his background and i am not
i am tired of hearing i love you but i have to go
what should i do?
i love him so much but cant take it anymore either
i feel lonely

Since you've been dating for a year and you still haven't worked out your major problems together, then yes, you should leave him. It sounds like you are wasting your time with him. I know you're lonely, but it will pass. Your friends will help you get through a breakup, and hopefully you can visit your family next year too.

The fact of you just asking should you leave him is a sign that maybe you should. Love is supposed to be this beautiful thing that the two of you share. And him being afraid to introduce you is messed up. Even given the fact that you are from a different background is not a good enough reason to keep it from them. He should be proud of you no matter what. Love isnt supposed hurt. You need to find someone else who makes you feel as important as you truly are. Interracial relationships are hard but can work. Me and my husband are from different backgrounds and if ANYONE dont like it oh well cuz we live our lives for eachother not anyone else. So go find you some happiness cuz you deserve it just like everyone else.
