The guy is 45 and the girl is 28. (I'm trying to write a story with these two as the leads.)

They have a mentor-student/apprentice relationship and have known each other for about fifteen years.

The guy goes through some trauma (he was raped and kind of tortured), and in an effort to help him recover, and with consent from both guy and girl, they make out.

What do you think?

Sounds like a good idea for a story, and the characters sound pretty complex.

Good luck with it!

I don't think it's that big of a stretch, especially with the ages of your characters.

Adult women often look to mature men because in theory they have more financial security than younger men.

I think if you are careful with how you craft the story, it could turn out just fine. I think it might be better if the "making out" part was fallen into gradually though instead of being done as some sort of therapy.

I think you lead an active fantasy life.

Look, write it out and see what happens. Why not? If you really like writing, try a creative writing class or a writers' group to get some support from others.

Oh, and that "Help me overcome my trauma through sex" is a pretty old line. Although I fell for it when I was 36, so who knows.

I'd only say that if the guy's been raped, it'd be hard for him to "make out". I'd suggest you talk to some people about how rape victims view and engage in sex after the rape to make it more realistic.

Also, maybe you should make the two protagonists already sexually involved before he was raped. Seems like it'd be more interesting, to see if they can go on with a relationship.

Their relationship started when she was 13 and he was 30?

And this is a student / teacher relationship?

What the heck could they be studying at her young age and for so long (15 years)?

Then the guy gets his back door pushed in and stomped?

All this movie is missing is some banjo music and swamp moss in the background.

Sorry, I'll save my $9.00 and pass.

There's a huge gap between the trauma and them making out. You have to fully develop the story in order for people to be fully engaged in it.

I think that the first thought that would occur to me would be that when the girl was born, the man was 17. I would think that the relationship would be inappropriate, and if she were my daughter, I would not approve.

I hope that answered the question...
Merry Christmas!

"They make out?" What does that have to do with anything -- what changes about the relationship. Where does this shift to a physical relationship put them?

Those are the questions you need to answer while writing this...

Could she be a retired high priced call girl with ties to the mob and the mob is after her to get her secrets? That would lower the bland factor..
