I have been dating my boyfriend for about a year and a half. I am 27 he is 31. We live about 45 minutes away from each other & usually only see each other on weekends b/c of our work schedules. He has met my family for Christmas/other occasions, because I have invited him, but he hasn't invited me over to meet his family. I love him and he says he loves me. I have made it crystal clear that I really would like to meet them & I have told him that after this long that it hurts my feelings in a way b/c I feel its a reflection on how he feels about me. He says its a big deal & "he doesn't want to get their hopes up". As of now I have not mentioned it in a while b/c I know that if he wanted me to meet them he will let me know and arrange it. I still cannot help the fact that I feel bad about the whole thing and now keep my feelings to myself. I don't want to break up and I don't want to nag. What do I do now...just sit back and hope?

What should I do I feel so so gutted as if my lifes over. Why does it have to happen? I don't know wether to get the guy or just sit down and cry, my eyes well up with tears as I write this, I love her so much, she is my life. Weve had a few problems but I just want her back, I feel so upset. I'm a bloke and I'm coming on here telling you all I'm crying, silly I know but my hearts broken.

My Boyfriend didn't get me a Christmas gift and I put a lot of time, thought, and effort into his. It's not a money issue because he's rich, but he said he just didn't have the time to go shopping. Should I give him his gift?? What should I say when he doesn't give me one?

I love him.
No matter how much I love him. There is only a certain point that I can reach with my emotions and heart and I can get no closer to him. I cannot get close.

I went through hell all my life. I am used to caous. I am used to everything blowing up in my face. Used to getting hurt deeply. Used to those the closest to me, hurting me the most. I resent my biological and my step father.

Now, I am trying to be in a relationship.

Everything he says I automatically believe he is lying to me and try to figure out what the truth really is.
I don't trust him to be sincere or genuine. It is like I cannot believe that he is truly in love with me.
I resent him, sometimes for no reason. I keep waiting for him to hurt me.
I keep trying to figure out how he is manipulating me.

My whole past, I thought was behind me. Now, that I am in a relationship. Everyone that has hurt me, all the violence I saw, and etc-from my past. I keep waiting for him to turn into.

So I'm here with my family ready to celebrate the holiday.. and I'm feeling so blue and down. Part of it is b/c I'm in between jobs/trying to figure out things.. the other is I'm pine-ing for my guy friend back home. I feel like that guy who confesses to Keira Knightley in "Love Actually".. [but I'm not gonna do that].

I met a guy online and we had drinks. He had a dinner engagement (holidays, you know) so we parted with heavy smooching and petting right in the street, which I ended coyly saying he'd be late. He later texted me, "I want you!!!!" I replied, "You're sweet." I always thought if you left them wanting more, they'd come panting after you. Well, that hasn't happened. Why wouldn't he follow up on what is obviously a sure thing? change of mind? hangover? I should mention lives about 2 hours away and is only in town on weekends, etc. to see friends and family. so it seems pretty risk-free for him if he were worried about attachments or something. I can't believe a guy would be satisfied with just snogging. why isn't he gagging for it and ringing my phone off the hook? And what are the consequences if I call first? I always regret it when I cave in like that and make the first call. It doesn't usually end too well.

I had a boyfriend for almost 2 years. We were great together and we had no major problems the time we were together, and we were so close and had something really good and he was this really important person in my life. I really couldn't ever see it ending. And he's my first real love too. a few months ago, some things happened and he made some mistakes and got scared and ended up breaking up with me to date someone else. But he still continued seeing me during the whole time, because he was so confused about what he wanted. Eventually he realized the mistakes he made and realized how he felt about me and what he wanted with me, and he tried to fix things and ended it with the other girl, and told me that he wanted to take it slow with me and work on things a step at a time.....that was 2 months ago...and we have been taking it slow, seeing each other a few times a week...and still being "physical" with each other...now i find out that there's this other girl he's been talking to..

He told he didn't see a future with us he didn't want to have another long distance relationship and he was having a bad feeling about me coming over for the holidays but he said he still cared about me and he still wanted me in his life,when just the night before he was telling me he loved me and wanted to be with me and last week i told him if he didn't want to talk to me just let me know and everytime we had a problem he was like i just wanna be with you and i wanna live with you filling my head up with **** and now this,didn't give any explanation except he said he was an asshole i do messed up things,and he was having a guilty concience or some bullcrap,i don't think he was with anyone else and even if he was that still doesn't explain the bullsh*t christmas he gave me,i'm pissed off by the way i mean wtf why waste my time and put me in a place i wasn't to sure about just to dump me friggin ******
