My Boyfriend didn't get me a Christmas gift and I put a lot of time, thought, and effort into his. It's not a money issue because he's rich, but he said he just didn't have the time to go shopping. Should I give him his gift?? What should I say when he doesn't give me one?

christmas shouldn't be about presents, but you should give your boyfriend the gift because you did put thought into it and maybe he'll realize that he should have done something for you as well. maybe he won't and you'll need to decide if this is a relationship that you are interested in staying in. if this is an indication of how he views holidays and "family time" it won't get better with time. if he's too busy now then he'll be too busy for christmases to come. money doesn't buy happiness.

Is your relationship usually this one-sided? If yes, then this is just another instance of it. But if he's usually thoughtful, maybe this was an exception due to circumstances. Did he warn you ahead of time that he had not bought you anything yet? In any case, buy yourself a present!

I don't know whether you should give him the gift, that depends on your mood.

Just give it to him. When he said he didn't get you any, just tell him it is ok. It's the sharing moments, gift isn't necessary. Don't feel hurt, I didn't get a gift from my husband either though I bought one for him.

Hello,
If you are old enough to have a grown up relationship, it is time to understand grown up issues.
So what you did not get a gift, it is not the end of the world, if you feel this guy you are dating is lying to you about not having time then don't give him his gift and break up with him.
It is not about money, so he must be lying to you hu? People do not change. Stay with this guy and do not expect him to celebrate holidays like you do in the future.

oh my. if he really loves you then he'll find the time, no matter what, to find you a gift. but then, i think you should still give him his gift, christms is more of giving than recieving, you know. and maybe, if you'll give hime you're gift then that would change his mind andmake him buy you a gift, even ifit's a day after christmas/ :D

Give him his gift and then he'll probably be jealous and hurt knowing that he didn't get you anything and then he'll send you on a shopping spree

Give him the gift you got him. But if you notice that he never seems to have enough time and be thoughtful enough to get you gifts or take the time to do something for you, then maybe you should re-think the relationship.
