It depends on how fast you give in to their sexual needs. If you give in within a few months then why should he fall in love with you. You are giving him exactly what he wants, so there is no reason for him to love any other part of you. However, if you can hold out for at least 6 months you are forcing him to have to learn other things about you that he likes and that will make him want to stay around. I am honestly in love with my fiance. I think she is wonderful. I don't like every single thing about her, but I have learned that it is more than just the physical closeness that keeps me wanting to be near her all the time.

Guys will say and do anything that results in having sex with you. If that involves saying I love you will you be mine for the rest of your life blah de blah then thats what they will say.
First sanity check: How many girls has he had before you. If it's 1,327 or more then he's just playing the field. Don't take HIS word for it, ask your female friends.
Second sanity check: when you walk with him, does he look at, pass comment to, nod or wink at other girls (or men)?
Invite him to somewhere, anywhere, without beer or a sports TV when a big game is on.
Ask him his top 10 favorite movies. If Bruce Willis and Arnie are in the list, get a real guy.
Nice guys exist but there are a LOT of guys just looking for a quick lay.

Guys absolutely do fall in love. Sure there are many guys out there that are just out for sex, but there are just as many who aren't. In many guys minds, sex and love are seperate things, so it will seem like they don't want to settle down, but when they find the right girl they will. I have many guy friends that love their girls very much so, and can't imagine being with anyone else. Guys are human too, and just because there are a lot of jerks out there, doesn't mean they are all that way. I find many girls who seem to care only about sex just as much as some guys.

Ok- if they are younger then....30ish, then they just want sex from hot girls. Over 30, they may settle down, but sex is important....
Guys have a urge to roam. But so do women, only I guess it also comes with them looking for a "safety net" in a mate, then they cheat....
