"Hi, I was just admiring / appreciating you from afar, and I was wondering if I could leave my card with you and if you'd be available to get together over the next week." ---- Ladies is this a strong enough approach? Is it good or corny and should I try to get their number at the end? I think I look decent (tall with dark hair, age 35 and probably a 7 out of 10 at least). Okay so there's this boy, and I have liked him for a while, and he is my best friends older brother. Of course she doesn't approve of us, and I thought that he didn't like me and that I didnt have a chance. But it turns out he does. My friend got over it, but then I started having people tell me that after he walked me to my class, he would be with another girl. I confronted him and he said it wasn't true. I asked one of my good friends who know's him if he is with alot of girls and she said he was, so I told him that we were better off as friends. A couple of weeks later he kissed me, let me remind you that I really do like this guy, and I kissed him back. And now I don't know what to do. Should I believe him, or the other people. Also he is kind of fast paced for my taste, and sometimes it makes me uncomfortable. Please don't answer with something sarcastic or smart ass, I don't need judgemental people!

Alright I've noticed alot of girls on here... That are single for the most part can't decide whether or not a guy likes her, or if they should tell they guy they like her... I mean as a guy I think if a girl likes me she should show it so I can make a move.. or tell me so I can do something about it.

So my question is ... as a girl do you feel like it's a guys job to approach you or notice you... ? If you expect him to notice you what do you do to make him notice you?

Another thing too.. I saw alot of questions with girls and guys saying she/he didn't call me... should I call them... It sounds like some kinda game to me why not just treat them like you do your friends? Call em when ya wanna hang out or talk, miss the call and they didn't call ya back? Why not just call em back tomorrow?

My boyfriend and I have been together for a couple of years. I have never cheated on him, but he has been accusing me of it off and on for about a year now.

I am to the point now where I feel like I might as well go ahead and do it if I am being accused. I know that is not a good attitude to have, but I am only human.

I have also heard that if someone is constantly accusing you of cheating, they are probably the one who is guilty.

What have you done in a situation like this?

I hate to sound conceited, but it's the truth.
I came here because I don't want it to sound like I'm bragging or anything..

So... I get asked out on a pretty regular basis (at least once a week).
I'm tierd of it.
I don't like it at all.

I am not a flirtacious girl, you might even call me shy.
I don't persue any of these guys in any affect and I have NO IDEA why they keep asking me out.
I can't seem to have a guy friend unless he has a gf and that is completely ridiculas.

I want to know how to make them stop without being mean.

I've known this girl for 2 yrs and i've liked her 4awhile now and I know she likes me becuz...
- she would stay up late to talk to me even if we argued
- she said she missed me during the summer
- she emails me & IM's me a lot
-she actually asked me whether i'd consider her to be my g/f

oh wait... She chose her cheating b/f over me...a girl whom I confided with , was there for her through thick & thin...& I can't believe shes going back to her ex...why do girls do this! I don't care if im "Just friends" with her but the fact that she lead me and lied pisses me off

Months back we got into this huge fight about me getting them done and he was saying no he didnt want me to get them that i was perfect the way i am.

Well I brought it up again this morning cause he read some article last night. And hes an actor working with some director who is casting some people saying all these people look good but dont have any talent. He thought to throw me in wanting to get boobs but not taking any acting classes or I dont know how to play the guitar yet. First off I'm taking time off from school to dabble in acting and take some classes and i'm going to take some guitar classes too. Anyways I told him that yeah everyone talks about how they dont like girls being fake blah blah blah but that doesnt stop them from looking and saying the girl is hot. I told him this and first thing he said was "yeah i know i love them lol"

Well I told him I was going to get them and he started going off about how they wont look right on me cause i'm petite and thin.

I posted a question similar to this but im updating the scenerio.. I'm 16 dating a guy whose 23. One day when i snuck him + his friend in my house his friend had sex with my sister and my bf got oral sex from her. I didnt find out until yesterday but before i could confront him, he called and told me his mom died and he was so sad, so i didnt mention nething (ps, i found out its true ). Well i thought that was bad, but come to find that now my sisters bf (who she cheated on and admitted it to him) wants her to claim that they raped her and shes kinda fragile and open to influence so idk if she will. she says she wont but idk... then to make things even worse, my other sister found out and told our mom bits and pieces of the story, so now i need to know what should do about him/his mom situation, should i be mad at either of my sisters(the one for being intimate with my bf and the other for blabbing), what should i tell my mom if she asks, what if my sister goes to the cops? Im 18 years old and I broke up wtih my boyfriend that i was with for 2 years about a month ago. We technically broke up about a year ago, but we kept trying to make it work for the past year..but he wasnt the same person to me anymore, he really said and did hurtful things to me that effected and skewed the way i look at him a lot. I used to cry on command to songs that reminded me of him, but today when i was listening i had no reaction. Its like i barely even think about him anymore. Im just totally apathetic to the situation because I know its over and I know im better off because he was setting me up for a lifetime of misery. Is this normal? Should I be super upset or something? Or if someone damages your life so much, is it that easy to block out?

I'm 18. I really like this guy in my class. He is very cute & sweet. Every1 in my class says dat he is a flirt. Blah blah. I talked wid him on phone & got 2 know dat he is actually a very good person but is always misunderstood. He cares bout his family a lot which is so sweet! He told me about this girl who flirts wid him a lot & he was actually fed up of her. We became really good friends & he shares everything with me. He says that I'm loving & caring. He was quite sad since the past 2 weeks coz he was missing his family so I used to call him daily. But he wouldn't call me. We talk for hours & hours on phone. 2 days back I called him & he said that he can't talk now coz his cousin was with him. I hung up the phone. I was going out with this guy. He seemed like he really liked me. Everytime we would see each other in the hall he would hug me and walk me to my next class. At the end of each day he would walk me to the bus and kiss me. Then stuff started going around that he was cheating on me. He started avioding me after that. He wouldn't wait on me, wouldn't call me, and when he talked to me he would look down at his feet. So I broke up with him. Then the next day he kept looking at me with this sad face. I started to want him back.... One of my friends went to talk to him and he told her that he didn't want me back and wasn't going to go back out with me. It really hurt me feelings. So then the next couple of days I didn't want him back. But now........ I feel super bad and I want him back so bad. He also told one of my friends that he MIGHT ask me back out. Today he said acted like he still likes me. Our friends tried to get him to kiss me but he wouldn't. Please help me. IDK wat to do.

Reason being, I like someone but they don't have a job, car, etc. But they are great... personality wise and very respectful.

My cousin says she will never talk to anyone who doesn't have a car. At first, I thought it was her being materialistic but now I'm not so sure.

What are your thoughts on this? Is it wrong not to want to talk to somone because of their financial status?
