I recently wrote a top ten list of tips guys should follow when meeting new women. I will copy and paste the one about buying drinks. Here goes:
3. Ask her to buy you a drink. All too often guys are left high and dry when thinking they are increasing their chances of earning the respect of a woman by buying her a drink. Though this type of behavior may have been considered proper for a gentleman many decades ago, modern culture suggests exactly the opposite. If you offer to buy her something, you are creating a relationship that requires you to earn her approval each time you want something. This will only end up costing you money. In fact, she will likely view you as a sucker and continue to use you for free drinks or other wasteful investments. She can easily charm you into purchasing the next item or doing the next favor by tossing you scraps of attention as if you were a dog and deceptively flirting with you to remain convincing. You must avoid this type of relationship at all costs by reversing it before it starts. Ask her to buy the drink. Women appreciate the value of money only when it is their money. She will view her purchase as an investment in your relationship. She will likely remain interested to see how it turns out. If she has no money to buy drinks, rest assured that she went out with the intention of having other guys spend money on her. There you see she is interested in using you rather than being your friend.

Buy them a drink and then when the bartender hands you your change drop some of it and when you bend down to pick it up tie their shoelaces together, and when they try to walk away fall down you can not only take the drink back but get a good laugh in the process., It's win win baby.

Sounds like you are getting used for some free drinks. Better work on your game and keep a conversation going with the ones you do buy drinks for so you don't lose them. Seems like they are trying to get away from you.

you were pretty vague about what leads you into buying them drinks, if you are just walking up to them and saying "hey let me buy you a drink" expect to lose them in the crowd 99% of them time. to them it is a free drink and you probably aren't the only unlucky guy in the bar that has bought them a drink that night. change your approach. #1 notice something obvious about them or the enviornment they are in bring that up first try to have a few minute convo before offering anything to them, it will keep them intrigued, plus if you notice them not interested in you, you can save your money and move on!

you just dont go up to someone, say 'hey want a drink for 4 dollars' and expect them to hang out with you the rest of the night or whatever. they think your a creep prolly.. if you honestly think they are gunna hang out wit u u need a new strategy seriously.. if u offered to buy me a drink i would do the same then walk away.. i wouldnt want to waste my night on some desperate loser

If your buying them drinks, and then lose them. That only means their using you or maybe your not keeping them interested. Keep in mind girls love to laugh so, try coming up with something to keep it going.

Buy them one or two drinks and see how it goes... most women will offer the next round.... if you're buying ALL the drinks, you'll ALWAYS be paying out if you end up dating!

lol. Don't offer to buy them drinks until you manage to talk to them, dance with them and see if they're interested in YOU, not the free drink. I mean, do you just buy the drink as a pick-up???
