We dumped the consumerism years ago. We don't even always exchange gifts. We decided to focus on being together, enjoying the lights and the music and the snow, and doing something we all like. So I don't do much shopping any more, and NO last minutes stuff. I made most of the stuff I gave this year.
Remember it's about giving joy to those you love. There are lots of other ways you can do that besides shopping. I wish you peace and joy this holiday season, my dear.

I'm totally up there with you girlfriend! Plus my bday is on Monday the 24th and we celebrate Xmas that same day at midnight actually (so technically it's the 25th). I still need to run out and get my bf one more gift, I think I got that figured out so far and my three nephews and niece too. I just want this holiday OVER!! I love it, but it's so stressful : (

Usually I'm with you, but this year I was forced into a small Christmas. However, I really like the less stress.

The people I wanted to buy for I already got and gave their presents.
