My boyfriend doesnt want me to get a BOOB job?

Question

Months back we got into this huge fight about me getting them done and he was saying no he didnt want me to get them that i was perfect the way i am.

Well I brought it up again this morning cause he read some article last night. And hes an actor working with some director who is casting some people saying all these people look good but dont have any talent. He thought to throw me in wanting to get boobs but not taking any acting classes or I dont know how to play the guitar yet. First off I'm taking time off from school to dabble in acting and take some classes and i'm going to take some guitar classes too. Anyways I told him that yeah everyone talks about how they dont like girls being fake blah blah blah but that doesnt stop them from looking and saying the girl is hot. I told him this and first thing he said was "yeah i know i love them lol"

Well I told him I was going to get them and he started going off about how they wont look right on me cause i'm petite and thin.

What do you guys think of my situation.

I don;t wanna be biased or anything but your b/f is right, you don't need to get them done. My opinion is that people should be happy with what they have and end of the dayif people think otherwise then they are very insecure people. I've seen your pic and you do look very pretty and I don't see why you should have them done. Just my humble opinion :)

For what it's worth, and of course it's tought to judged based on just one photo - but to me you look like you have ample material where it's needed, and your boyfriend is quite right in advising you to not go for expansion! ;-)

This being said I realise I live in Europe, where the "ever bigger boobs is ever better" fashion has largely not caught up. And maybe where you live in the U.S., there is huge pressure to have them expanded?

But, even in the U.S., it seems to be that there are some famous, and very good-looking, women who did NOT get boob jobs.

Also, I think that the day this fashion turns (and it seems to be turning, starting with the more sophisticated / educated end), then all the girls w huge boob jobs will just look tacky - and it's tough to undo well, especially the below the muscle ones.


As a final note: like any surgery, this is not a zero-risk thing, there is a non-zero risk of actually dying on the operating table. To me as an outsider, and based on just that photo, it looks like weighing the risk of being dead, against the opportunity of maybe looking a bit better (or maybe looking like the boobs are too big, and tacky). I know which one I would chose. But of course I'm not you.

Well, from your picture I would say the same thing as your boyfriend if I was in his position; they are by no means small and they "match" your figure, in my opinion. However, it's your choice and no one else's, and if you think it would make you feel better about yourself, then do it!

Another thing to think about, though, is the fact that a boob job is still a form of surgery, so you will probably have some kind of scarring where the incisions were made for the implants.

I think you should dump your boyfriend.

He's clearly a good guy, that likes you the way you are. He knows that you just want a boob job to get attention for other women and men. And that you'll probably dump him when something you think it better comes along.

Clearly he is a person that sees value of the person inside, and you can't see that. He should be free find someone who isn't so self absorbed.

He loves you for the way you are . Maybe getting a boob job is way to much of a risk. It's not an easy surgery to have to go through. I have heard of many horror stories.

It is best to leave nature a lone and feel confident about who you are and what you have. It sounds to me that maybe you want to bring attention onto yourself and there are better ways of doing that. One way is to be confident and to feel good about yourself without feeling the need to alter anything

You have a guy who loves you for the person that you are and he obviously does not see the need for you to change anything

What's wrong with the way you look now? You seem very proportionate for your size. You certainly don't want to come out looking top heavy like Dolly Parton do you? If you do get them done, you may have back, neck and shoulder pain if too big.

You are lucky to have someone that loves you for the way you are and does not want to change you in any way. Not many out there like that nowadays. I'd be thankful.

Oh honey I understand your frustration, I want to get a lift, but you have to understand that he fell for what you have and not for what you don't have. If he wanted a woman with larger breasts then he would go looking for one. I wish more people would understand that looks aren't everything. Vain is a terrible thing to waste your life on. Your beautiful and your girls look wonderful on you. (I wish I could wear a dress like that and not look like I need a bra.) Sorry if I didn't give you the answer you wanted, but you know our opinions aren't everything and you should do what you feel is right for you.

Do not change a single thing.

I can pick fake boobs out in a crowd.
There is the potential for problems.
If you are any larger, you wont be proportionally correct, so unless the acting you wanna do is porn, they would likely prevent you getting the job.
What are they gonna look like when you are 50?

I think you look beautiful the way you are and your lucky to have a guy who thinks your perfect the way you are. Some guys dont like their girlfriends getting boob jobs cause that might attract other men, and its uncomfortable when you hug cause they are real hard. I say do what you want, but you're lucky to have a guy to love you that much.
