Do you have a best friend from the opposite sex? I mean PROPER best friend, who talk almost every day, hang out, go out, do things together, etc.

It doesn't bother me at all, but she comments constantly about their size, compares them to her friends, my friends, my exes, etc. Besides surgery, which I wouldn't want (and couldn't afford anyway), how can I make her more confident? Believe me, I give them plenty of attention. I just want her to be happy.

Okay, so there's this girl named Hannah. I liked her for the better part of this year. simple, right? well, 4 weeks ago, I basically was really nice to her (you know complement wise, etc), cause I was gonna ask her out the following week, and that's just how it was. Then, that weekend, she told me she was going out with some guy named John. I was mildly heartbroken, but I was okay with it. One day tho, a guy told me that she made it up, lied to everyone so I wouldn't ask her out. When I told her exactly what I had heard, she folded,said that she was sorry, that she didn't want to reject me coz she thought it might hurt me, and she might have lost me as a friend. She wants to be "just friends, beause ur a great guy and all, but I don't like you in the same way," I told her I'd talk to her later...

What should I do? Ignore her forever, as she isn't a good friend if she does something that? Forget she lied, keep acting as tho everything is normal, but move on? I'm still attached but...

This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do . Visits 1-2 times a month. Limited phone calls, letters make me sad and cry. I miss him terribly. Everyone tells me I need to let him go. We've been together almost 1 1/2 yr. We still love each other but it's unfair to either to be together if we can't have a normal relationship. His charge was against someone in my family. I can't be loyal to both. Opinions, please.

After all, I barely know the man. I have met him on Yahoo Answers. We speak on IM and he is really sweet. He now says he loves me and wants to send my visa and flight tickets over to me in Australia.

I said I have to meet him first before I can decide. I told him I am scared and he says people in the US and Los Angeles, where he is are cool.

I have only started to come into my own and become more independent. I am scared of travelling alone as I have never been overseas before and do not really know him.

I am also very close to my mum and help her out and she would miss me and be worried about me.

On the other hand, it sounds like an adventure and a new life. He is also very wealthy and I love him (as much as I can to someone I have never met)

I have until end of January to make my mind up. He wants me to have two kids and says I don't need to work. Just look after the kids and says I can send money to my family.
I have a good life here and am just starting to make it.

I had a crush on a guy for 6 years since I was 10.

I do have suitors during my secondary school (high school) days, but by then I've already developed philophobia, fear of falling in love. Thus, I always gave cold attitude towards guys who were trying to get close to me.

I was 16 when I finally got over my long term crush, because I decided to focus on my studies, and I told myself this, "Forget it, perhaps I am destined to be single."

Later, I went to a post-secondary institution for two years. I focused on my studies a lot, I completely ignored about getting into relationship till the point that some of my classmates thinks I'm gay because I seemed to lack of interest when they talked about guys. But anyway, I graduated with a GPA of 3.847 and got my *** into the best Art College in Asia.

Now here comes the problem,

I have a teacher that I took a class 3 years ago and he used to make jokes about how he was unlucky in love. He was single at the time. His jokes were really funny though. He became engaged 9 months ago. However, last week he hosted an event at school and he was STILL making jokes about him being unlucky in love. What does it mean?

Okay. So. I've been chatting it up with a guy that I knew in college. We never really talked before or even showed any interest in one another.

The situation basically consisted of him requesting me on myspace. After I added him, he didn't really initiate anything, so I finally did. Well, time passes and we message each other back and forth...blah blah...He gives me his number first. I return the favor, but he calls me first. To make a long story short, we've only talked maybe twice. The first time was maybe 5 min., he wanted to confirm plans for dinner. I said cool. But, we didn't go out b/c it rained. I don't think we rescheduled, but then we have this amazing convo on the phone that lasted for like 2-3hrs and that was the last of the phone talk. Communication betwn us is usually text, which is cool, but at my age it's annoying and redundant.

The dilemma:

One night we were texing each other, at least one or two words back and forth. I texted him first, b/c I will admit, I'm not the most persitent person when it comes to relationships. I was thinking along the lines of SHOW THIS GUY YOU'RE INTERESTED. B/c I know me and I can send off some bad vibes without trying! but the thing that pissed me off was when he and I were texting each other back and forth, I felt as if he didn't really feel like being bothered. I felt that energy ...and then to top it off, he left a text convo WIDE OPEN, so I felt as if he brushed me off! I know some people have a hard time saying goodbye or ending a convo, BUT please say somethin! I mean, I felt really dumb and he didn't bother to text me back until the Dec 6th. The last text was on the 30th of Nov!

This is what WIDE OPEN looks like:

Now, there was previous texting before these last two, but this right here was like...OKAY?!?

So, I'm pretty sure you can guess what I've been doing. Yes, I've been punishing him. The poor guy has texted me, called me and I have not responded and I don't know why. He's cool and I doubt if he's doing this diliberately. He doesn't really know me like that, excpet for what little he has to go by on the phone. I just don't know how to redeem the situation without coming off as bitter or mean. I wanna know. Who's right. Who's wrong. And how do I redeem myself?????? Its been two weeks. I feel so ashamed bc regardless, that's not what type of person I am. I hate playing games. I guess I'm just protecting my feelings.
