If you can refrain from ANY physical contact for "x" amount of time (a week, 2 weeks), and spend all your time getting to know each other verbally you're off to a good start.
I know cutting off all physical contact is harsh, but I also know how fast hugs and hand holding ends up in nakedness when you have chemistry!! lol If you can get to know your partner on a level deeper than fooling around or sex, and if you like what you know then it is more than chemistry.
