I've been going through some photos, every body, myself included, looks fine from the front, well most of the time. But when theyre taken from the side it looks very weird. Is it just me that think so?

Lol, I know what you mean. I've looked at pictures of myself and friends from the side as well and the angle and figure just looks odd. I guess its because you only see like half the face and the weird shape of the chin and nose and eyebrows.

I completely agree...
I can tell you why...
most of the time you look at other people or yourself, it is straight from the front. In your mind, you create an image of that person's face from the front. So when you end up looking at yourself or others from the side, the image looks odd because it isn't exactly the face you recognize.
