Yeah, and I'd get far away from her too because she is probably as prude as they get! or she's a liar

Honestly, I wouldn't be thrilled with a 28 year old guy who had never been in a relationship. After about age 21 I got tired of guys who just didn't have a clue about relationships, and started wanting someone who knew what they were doing... both sexually and as a romantic partner. Then I got lucky and found my husband, and the rest is history! I'm not trying to make you feel bad, I'm just shooting straight from the hip here, and if you're smart you'll take this as useful information you can DO something with and not just criticism. By the time women are your age, they generally want something serious. They're thinking marriage, house, kids. They're ready to be grown-ups. Thus, a man who mentally and emotionally still behaves like a teenager is NOT appealing... so you're either going to have to date very young women who may be too intellectually immature for you, or you'll find yourself attracted to women who have even more problems than you do! My advice: First, see help for your anxiety issues. I know what it's like to suffer from anxiety, but there are MANY effective treatments today, from medication to cognitive behavioral therapy. Be proactive and seek out these solutions. Second, improve your social life overall, not just your dating life. Find something to "do" every single weekend, whether it's dinner with friends, a concert, a volunteer opportunity, or a date. Don't just stay home playing WoW. Lastly, get some EXPERIENCE! I don't necessarily mean sleep around, because you might very well find your true love who won't mind that she's your one and only. But then again, if having sex would give you more confidence, then go get laid. By anyone. Put yourself around enough drunk women and one of them will probably want to take you home. However, you'd probably enjoy it more if your first was someone you actually cared about, who knew you were an "innocent" so to speak, and didn't mind a little coaching. Also, there are still women out there who want to be virgins until marriage (not that many, but they exist), and it's hard for them to find a guy who hasn't already slept with someone, so if you'd be willing to wait until you got married for sex you'd pretty much have your choice! You've just got to figure out where these gals are, and find one who suits you.

Maybe, though truth be told I know a couple of friends who haven't slept with anyone yet and they're in their late twenties. It's, I suspect, a little more common that you would think but it's just something people tend to hide as they get older. Either way, if the woman in question was worried how a guy would react, i would say it was a good test of whether he was worth being with. If he freaks out and is an idiot about it, then she knows he's not worth the bother. If he really likes her, he should just be happy he gets to be that guy! Though maybe he'd be a little nervous that he gets it right tho :)

No. She wouldn't be the first I'd met.
I've met people older than 30 who were still virgins (both genders)
Some folks are just choosier than others.

i think i'd be more impressed or maybe concerned....... impressed if she held out this long via choice and concerned if she hasnt been in a realionship where she felt secure. ok maybe more concerned.... just think that if at 30 she hasnt felt loved and secure enough to trust someone then she may never feel loved or secure and needs to find out why she has built up such a wall in her heart

If she was Christian and devout I would not be surprised in the least. If she was not Christian, but not attractive and not social, I would also not be surprised. However, under any other circumstances, I would be very surprised.

No, I think its wonderful... unless she's married. Then its just weird. But if she's not married, there is no reason she should NOT be virgin if that is what she believes in. Good for her!
