Okay, it's simple math. Most guys in their teen years are 2 years more immature then their actual age. Girls see older guys as on their level. It's something that us girls talk about a lot! How guys in our grade act like 5 year olds or something.

i think girls mature earlier than boys, so teen boy is no match to a same age girl in many ways, especially emotionally. Older guys also give girls a sense of security.
Teen girls shouldn't focus on boys anyways, older or younger. I think it's time for some real valuable family time. Maybe in hanging out with Mom AND Dad, teen girls will just need teen boys to be friends.

Most girls are about 4 years more mature than guys the same age as them; this difference is usually pretty aparent during the teen years. So, basically girls are trying to find someone who matches them in "mature years" not age years. It has almost always been traditional for a young girl to marry an older man, for many reasons other than maturity. But now that women are more free to marry (or just be with) whomever they choose, they tend to go for older men still, because of maturity. Not always though.

There are so many reasons: unhappy home, no positive adult male role model, materialism, boredom, low self esteem and depression. It has NOTHING to do with maturity. A man in his 20s and higher still remains a boy if they date teen girls. Believe me, he only wants a teenager because he can't hold a long term relationship with someone his own age. That's a red flag. Because he'll tell you, older women are bitter, mean, etc., but in reality, the older woman sees he's immature. It's so sad how men have become video game, beer drinking, sex addicted, non caring people. I say that because the majority are, and a man who dates a teenage girl, doesn't care about her, her family or her future. He only wants to control and manipulate her so he can get laid. You don't believe me, let me tell you you withhold sex from him, he will leave you to find someone probably you know at school. It's sick and twisted how deviant the majority of men are these days. Men wouldn't be this way if women knew how to stand up and say NO. It's your fault girls and women. Women need to be better mothers and teach their girls better from birth. Instead of think well it's better than her running away, or rebelling against me. What a cop out! Mothers grow up and stop fearing your spoiled brats!!!! Men grow up and marry women, not children!!!!

Lol... I am interested in older guys, but if a younger guy happend to be just as mature and had had as much life experiance as that of an older guy, then maybe I would like him?
You see, its all about maturaty, and girls in most cases mature alot quicker than boys..... Therefore, they feel that an older guy can match her thought prossesses alot better than a younger one can... The only girls I know who like younger boys are the really old ones, and they just want them for there toy boys ;)
Alot of girls want a guy to be reliable, strong, mature and experiances, most of which qualities do not exist in younger guys....

Girls tend to mature faster than boys so they like guys they can relate to. Also, it makes them feel more mature(grown up) to be dating an older guy. It equalizes out later but i can see the frustration a teen guy could have. But it sort of has to do with the laws of nature, procreation, survival of species if you really think about it.

hmmm well im older now, but when i was a teen i can say I deff. didnt like guys my age, or guys younger than me. Older guys just have this charm to them, and when your a teen its easy to fall for the older guy. they make themselves look like they know exactly what theyr talking about, in the eyes of a teen girl an older guy knows it all, wether it be physical, mental, or about style, they seem to have everything a teen guy doesnt.

Well I'm Hayley and I'm 13-years-old... and yes i do go out with older guys...
Girls date older guys for many different reasons and none of them are to do with getting there money like one of the other comments...
We choose older guys because we know that there stronger and will protect us if we're in some sort of trouble...
younger boys tend to think... Na shes older she can look after herself...
Older guys will hang out with there girlfriends if they ask them to... younger boys guys just wanna go out and have fun with there friends...
All guys should know is that if you have a girlfriend... she wants you to give her your attention... so she knows you love her...
If you like older girls thats fine as long as you care about them...

When you're older, you have to remember how you felt about this -- and fight the urge to date one of those "teen girls."
Do it for guys that were just like you, when you were their age.
