okay im going back to north carolina for christmas to see my mom ...and my ex wants to take me out to dinner and talk about getting back together ....should i go out to eat with him or should i just see my family and then leave...

we were together for 5 months and i do have to admit i do have some feelings for him but he cheated on me twice and i dont want that to happen again .....what should i do ??????

but so does my bestfriend. and she is being such a jerk to me now. like she lied to me and told me that her, my other friend, the guy and his friend all sat together after school in the library. when really my other friend told me they were on the other side of the room. but he should be mine because were both short and my friend who likes him is extremely tall so they wouldnt look good together anyways. and today my friend and him waved goodbye to eachother which made me mad. ive never talked to him in my life. but my friend has an advanteage because she's friends with his best friend so she goes and talks to them. I NEED HELP! what should i do????????????

If anyone can help. I just cant seem to fully get over my ex. We broke up 5 yrs ago because of my drinking and i just drank the emotions away after that but i have since then cleaned up, about 1 1/2yrs now, and still cant seem to get over her. We dated for about 3 1/2yrs and i cant remember once ever having an argument. I felt like she was a soulmate to me, but i know there are other fish in the sea. I know that things are completely over with her, but i whenever i think about being with another woman i just cant picture things lasting. I havent gone out on any dates or met anyone in since we broke up and i feel like this obstacle is preventing me from being able to meet someone. I guess what i am asking is why cant i get over her, and what can i do to help get over her? Any suggestions would be great

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years. and theres one thing that really bothers me! i have tried hard all 4 yrs to maintatin a "B" average in high school and am planning on going to MI state for college. however, my bf is going to COD, which is ok i guess, but he doesnt try in school. he says he does but he NEVER takes books home with him. and he has 3 d's, 1 f, and 2 c's right now. THAT IS NOT TRYINg. i know school is harder for some people but he never goes in for help or does hw (it shows that on his grade reports) and he always complains im too busy to talk on the phone or hang out but REALLY im doing h.w. i hate it. i feel like i need someone who cares and someone who is smarter but I DO LOVE him. ive told him this bothers me before but he just says "U SOUND LIKE MY PARENTS! and i do try..." then ignores it. i cant stand it.. what should i do!? please help me

I have liked this girl for about a month now and I am not sure if she has become more nervous around me or just isn't interested.

I have asked her to do things with me three or four times, and everytime she blows me off. However, I do know she has been busy with school and other things. She does tenatively suggest doing things at other times, but nothing specific.

When we start talking to each other she usually cuts it off pretty quickly and walks away. Also when I call her she never picks up, and sometimes texts me back instead of calling me back.

I have even backed off a few times, but then she will come up and initiate a conversation. Also I go up to her and ask her if she is busy on certain nights and can I give her a call and she always says yes.

Is it possible that she is just nervous around me or is she just doing a poor job of blowing me off? I am also somewhat sick of putting myself out there, so could it possibly be that she is playing hard to get still?

I went out on Friday and a stranger guy approached me and gave me his number. He seemed decent/nice and cute. I talked to him on the phone today and he seemed nice. He said he's 30 years old even though he looked younger and I'm 18. He said he's attracted to me and that's why he gave me his number. Is it a good idea to go out with him? I never went out with anyone before. And to those who say go out with boys my age. No men my age approached me before... I never dated and I'm mad cause the boys my age just stare at me and sometimes smile but don't ask me out I think they want the nerdy/geeky girls and the mean/slutty girls since that's what I see them dating with, I don't think they want me. He seems decent and he told me he never approached a girl like that before and that he thought I was beautiful and he didn't know what made him approach me but something pushed him.. Usually the ugly friend is the one who cheats with the best friends man. She is insecure and knows she is ugly and will throw herself at the pretty friends bf in private to prove to herself that she can take him. In private because shes a coward. Ok so I was visiting my best friend who I hadn't seen for a while at his new apartment. I sat on his couch and he got mad because I sat on his imaginary wife so I moved and we talked for a bit. I also talked to his wife for a bit and she was really sweet and from the description I got from my friend she sounded really sexy. Suddenly he had to go to work so e told me to stay over and he would be back by around 3am or so. Right after he left, his imaginary wife threw herself on me and we started to make out. Then things progressed and by the end I used 2 condoms and we were both lying on my best friends bed. He lives right down the street.
During school while i'm at lunch and he has spanish he comes out to get a drink of water and jokes around with me. Example: takes my cell phone...making me run after him to get it. has a bf ever broken up w/ you and you tried to get them back by pursuing them (calling/texting/e-mailing/ect) only to be shot down... but then when you completly stopped trying and left them alone... they wanted you back??? is this common for guys to do especially after the first breakup?

my bf of 2 months broke up w/ me on monday night. i texted him 3 times from the course of monday night-tuesday morning and he has not replied. i am now planning to just totally leave him alone and wonder if he will take notice miss me & want me back. we broke up for a petty reason but i know he thought i was too needy so i also hope this will show him i am not needy.
although... i am VERY tempted to send him a text telling him i miss him. would this do more harm than good?

okay, I was talking to my friend, Jarvis and he was acting weird for the past couple days. when I talk to him about guys (like Zac Efron and my boyfriend), he kinda got quiet , he didn't respond when I ask him a question, and he didn't pick up my bag when it dropped.
