I met the girl of my dreams online. We met like 6 months ago, and then we met in real life even though I was so scared. I love her though and couldn't image life with out her. She is just a great girlfriend! I love her.

I met my current girlfriend of 5 1/2 years on th internet. We've been living together for 4 1/2 years. It can work, you just have to be sure you want to do it.

I thought the same, until I met my current boyfriend =) Talked to him about a month before actually meeting him. He's a sweetheart and we've been together for almost a year now. I wouldn't limit myself to that though, take it as an option, don't be closed to possibilities!

yes i met my lady online and for me its less scary than trying to meet someone face to face (i am a lot older as well) --- is she interested?? how do i approach her??? etc etc --- online you get to talk find out a bit more and then decide if you want to meet then you do so in a public place in daylight much better --- best wishes
