Hardest part is when you start to see their weaknesses and shortcomings. This would be a problem if you cannot accept such weaknesses and shortcomings.

Commitment and loyalty to one person are my guesses. Overlooking those are usually what breaks people up.
There are many times when guys or girls like more than one guy or girl. While that is fine, it is very difficult to choose between them. This can cause cheating, which can cause break ups.

hard part would be if you find out you actually cant stand the person and they annoy you every minute of the day...thats got to be pretty tough.
