Singles & Dating - 3 December 2007

I have a guy friend that I really like but it seems like the relationship isn't going to happen from my perspective. He tends to flirt with me at times but never hints at wanting more although it does seem like it at times like when he touches my knee and invites me to go places with him and he steals my stuff and jokes around a lot. I really like him but I don't want to ruin the friendship by making things awkward if I confront him about it so I haven't made a move either. On the other hand I have another guy friend that does like me and wants to date me. He seems more like a friend to me though but I've been considering giving it a try with him. But then I think how I can't get the other guy out of my mind and I wonder if it would really work out. I want to give the guy friend that likes me a try but I just don't know if I should because there is always the chance my other guy friend does like me even though I think he doesn't at times. Help!

should i blow the whistle on them? i have proof. i was going through my neighbors garbage ( i was looking for recyclables) and i found pictures and nasty notes!!! i was so embarassed for them i had to put them in my pocket to read in privacy. does our town need the town tramp to teach our children? i am having trouble sleeping because i want to do the right thing. that woman just makes me sick....a single woman dating a man with a girlfriend! if i should blow the whistle on them, how should i go about it? thanks.

I asked this before but only got 2 answers...
I know its kind of childish but my boyfriend promised that if I told him what I got him for christmas he would tell me what he got me. Well he promised so I believed him (we have been going out for a year and a half) and after I told him he said "Hahaha I lied" (it was over msn)
How would you feel?? I myself feel pretty upset about it, more so that he lied about promising...should I talk to him about it and tell him how that made me feel? Or just forget about it?

A little over a year ago I became quick friends with a girl at work, we just have lots in common - and after work we started going out for drinks with some other friends. Then we started hanging out just the two of us, watching TV, going to movies, things like that. In the 6 months we've been hanging out, nothing has ever happened.
Since we talk, she knows that I'm in 6 year relationship that has gone pretty bad and for about a month now she's been really different with me. It started when I found out that at work people were joking that we were secretly dating - everybody knows I live with my girlfriend and that we're hanging out a lot, but I told her it bothered me because my relationship does suck. Then she tells me in a joking way that maybe she's just waiting for me to end things with my girlfriend so we can date.
Is that the type of thing girls say to a guyfriend? I think there's always a bit of serious in every comment, but I don't know how girls work.

I've liked this guy for a long time, and I really don't think it's going to go anywhere unless I make the first move. Is it weird for me to ask him out...I've always been told "it's the guys job"...but that seems kind of stereotypical. So if I ask him out, how would I do it without like freaking him out? me and my ex live together, and I and him share a cat, is it best for me to find my own apartment or just stay where Im at and he if he wants to move out he can and I take oer the rent. We are both on the lease. Im not trying to be stuborn but why now that im pregnant hae to deal with the stress of moving out of my own apartment, when I own everything there and all the utilities are in my name? All he pays is the rent. I really don't think that its necessary to move right now. I just want some advice

I met this great guy when i was 21 he was 20. He took my son in as if he were his own he raised him and then asked me to be his wife... i thought things were good but i found out after the break up had been with a girl for 6 months behind my back. He is now married to her and just had a baby 5 months ago.... I LOVE him with all my heart and soul and he is my soul mate the one that I am to be with ...I just know it.... i was over at his house the other night and he didn't try anything on me. I finally asked him last night if he wasn't attracted to me or what? His response was he really wanted to but he didn't want to be out of line and he knew once we got started, it would get out of control. I don't know about you but I feel like I'm practically begging for it and it's starting to make me grumpy. He doesn't ever suggest when he has free time to get together and I'm getting weary and tired of being the initiator. I'm just not feeling it anymore and wondering if he's feeling the same way which might explain the whole sex thing. I want to end it and I've tried but he gets all mushy on me then I can't. HELP

Girls would you like your bf to wear a skirt if he really wanted to? Not talking about like a real feminine skirt, but rather a long denim, khaki, or camo skirt with cargo pockets on the sides. Also would you want him to shave his legs or wear tights with his skirts? Think about it, skirts are so much better for the male anatomy since they don't have the seam down the middle. I am 100% straight so don't even ask.

my boyfriend is jobless. he has been for about 3 months. he can easily get a job with a friend of ours, but doesn't seem to want to. he makes excuses and isn't actively searching. he has a daughter, which is what infuriates me even more. i mean, if you aren't going to work for the sake of supporting yourself financially, isn't your child motivation enough to get on the ball? it's getting to the point that i'm going to break up with him for it. i love him, and i don't want to, but what kind of future do i have with a guy like this?

p.s.before you call me a gold digger----> i live on my own, graduated college, work a well paying full time job and also bartend 2 nights a week. im not looking to be financially supported.
