I never have been able to hold it in. Never, so I guess I have had it broken quite a few times, but still it opens.... like never before most of the time.
God Bless.

I am not used to dating. I was married 12 years and widoed for four almost. I have been out a few times. I know what I want and what I don't want. I have a six year-old daughter I am raising on my own. I have a lot to deal with on my own. I want to make the right choice if I ever meet somebody for real. It is is hard to tell who is good and who is not. The guy I liked was just a friend but he turned out not to be trustworthy even as a friend. I meet somebody who is older then me but he is the opposite of the other guy. I am learning to open up my heart again but I still shield myself because I don't want to get hurt. Nobody wants to get hurt even the guy I liked the most recently; he has been hurt and he takes it out on other people. Everybody has their way of dealing with things.

Its always open, but just little bits at a time. Once i feel that i won't get it hurt I'll open it more, and for longer. Not a foolproof plan, but it saves a lot of heartbreak while still being open enough to the possibility of happiness.

I open my heart knowing that I could potentially get hurt. Like the saying goes "it's better to love and be hurt than to never love at all"

Probably a little bit of both. I hate being closed up personally, but sometimes, I just have to protect myself.

depends on how deep you're in love, if you're seeing a very good long term relationship and this is what you want, then open up...it's better you open up and let the other person know then having them find out later by themselves...

Well depend on your past experience. but there's this thing saying "love like you never been hurt before" because you'll just hold yourself back from ever loving again.
