Ok theres this guy that Ive secretly liked for a while and then he asked me out. And my friends probably wouldnt approve of him...Im not sure though...And I really want to say yes... And my mother also doesnt even know that I think about boys, she thinks Im still in 1st grade and thinks boys are icky! But Im a really boy crazy person. So should I say yes to him. Or no?

Here's the deal: when I'm with my usual friends or people I know well, I'm always talkative, outgoing, etc. and they absolutely love me.

But when friends try to introduce me to some of their other friends or when just meeting new people in general, I get incredibly shy. I won't talk until someone talks to me, and even then I reply with boring answers.

That /really/ bugs me because I come off as a really boring person and I'm not actually like that.

So how do I cure this curse?

Things haven't been going well recently, she caught me cheating with a younger woman and I think that the trust between us has been damaged in some way. The sex has never been great between us, although she does her best to keep up. This is what probably made me look elsewhere in the first place (am I being unreasonable?). I’m thinking of doing something to put the WOW factor back into our relationship but I’m having difficulty deciding what would be best. Any suggestions?

I went out on Friday and a stranger guy approached me and gave me his number. He seemed decent/nice and cute... I talked to him on the phone today and he seemed nice. He said he's 30 years old... even though he looked younger and I'm 18... and he said he's attracted to me and that's why he gave me his number. Is it a good idea to go out with him? I never went out with anyone before. Should I do it? And to those who just say no... please think that no men approached me before especially my age... I never dated and I'm pissed off that the the boys my age always stare at me and sometimes smile but they never ask me out. He seems decent and cute... He told me he never approached a girl like that before and that he thought I was beautiful and he didn't know what made him approach me but something pushed him.. So should I go out with him?

So there is a girl who I like more than just a friend. And I have expressed my feelings to her, and she has said she feels the same way, but she has a boyfriend. The reason why things are complicated is because she come from a small town, and she lives with him now, and things between them are not working out...I feel like she is pushing me to say "come and live with me," but I cant say that,because im in college....I am starting to fall in love with her, and I know she is as well with me....She cant get a place on her own, because she cant afford it....She has said she might be moving back home, and im heart-broken...How do I get her to stay...Or should I not even worry about it.

I care for her, and I would like for her to stay here in town, but currently I have responsibilities, and she has none, because she doesnt go to college.All she does is go to work...I actually may be her only good friend here in town, and even that is under the covers, because her boyfrind is unaware of me

Okay, So I got myself in an internet/online relationship with a a guy I really like. He's the perfect guy, and with all the pictures and info he's given me, I'm beginning to trust him more and more. He says he loves me and I love him too, but sometimes I wonder if I'll ever get a chance to meet him, because we've met on the internet and we live so far away from each other. I live in my sister's house and to make a long story short I would like to be on better terms with my sister's neighbor cause as it stands he ignores me and it's not like we get along great(cause I ignored him and wouldn't speak because I am a little shy and even before I say a word sometimes we are staring at each other and I feel uncomfortable for some reason) but I would like to change that if I can, cause I feel that I need to learn to make friends and be more friendly to people.

so my boyfriend sister absolutely hates me and i disslike her. she had said that I am not good enough for him and has told him that his whole family thinks I am a gold digger and and trapped her brother by having our child (BTW I made more money that he does), now, everytime i see them all I can think about is what they said about me which is sad because they havent made any effort to get to know me in the last year and a half. I feel like she is trying to break us up by telling him these things and especially since she has told me she can tell him things to break up with me. Is it wrong for me to think she is a horrible pathetic person and I dont want her around me our my family?

mine and my boyfriends ideologys totally differ from each others in the issue of joint families. well we both r from totally different kinda family. his family is totally ortodox and r kinda old fashioned. but mine is not so. i want to live seperately after marraige. i want to work and be the way i am at my home after marraige. but he wants to live with his parents . but his parents r very old fashioned. infact i suppose they will have a problem with me goin to work too! they have too many expectations. they want a totally homely daughter-in-law who does all the house old work and takes care of them and all. but i am never used to such things. and the idea of me doing such things in future makes me feel sick. i love my boy friend a lot and he loves me a lot too. but he just doesnt want to leave his parents. he even goes to the extent of saying that v may break-up if i cant adjust to this. v r not goin to married atleast for 5 yrs. but whenevr the this topic comes up i go numb.!

she's 18 and i'm 19 and i'm looking for a relationship thats gonna last as long as possible but we've only talked a couple times.
if i give her some flowers at the beginning of the date and everything goes well and she's happy at the end of the date would it be ok right before the kiss, if there is one, to give her a $200 necklace on the first date or is that too much? if so how much do you think would be ok to spend on it or skip it completely?
