Asking for your number means that he wants to talk to you, or your room mate!
This is the first step in getting to know you. Before getting all excited talk to him.
Get to know what his likes and dislikes are.
Spend some time to find out.
Who knows you may be compatible but not like each other in a relationship way. Better to find out first.

If your interested then you should give him your number and talk to him sometime see if he is really interesting or is it just his looks and if it comes to sex make sure you make him wait atleast 6 months you don't want to be one of them college stories that guys tell their friends about
