Im 38 he's 23 and very mature for his age...he's had to care for his terminally ill mom and had a lot of life experiences. He's in a management position and really mature for his age.

Yes, I know people tho have. As long as 15 years younger doesnt make the other person underage..thats a recipe for disaster.

A friend of mine is going through the same thing, but it works. And I have never seen her this happy. I think its awesome.

You have to not care what other people say. Your real friends are going to be happy that you are happy, and with someone that makes you happy, and meets your needs.

You're closest friends won't care about the difference.

As long as you both have the same interests / beliefs, and have that chemistry, age isn't really a factor.

So what if people bring it up. If they do, its because they are too shallow to see beyond it.

And there will be some people who won't be able to deal with it. To hell with them.

The only time age is an issue is when you make it one. Sometimes its because of a difference in priorities. Sometimes its because you've been there, done that, and not gonna do it again. You can go along for the ride, then it becomes a shared experience that binds you closer.

In other words... Just Do It!!!

I strongly feel that such a relationship can work very well.I also understand that you are a mature person what you said about the young man makes me feel happy that you got a right person as your life partner.Age difference hardly matters. That is not a point at all in your case when you know that he is mature young man with sufficient value sense in him.....moreover, the nature of job he has been doing suggests that he is capable of understanding the implication of this relationship with you.
Wish you good Luck

God Bless

Yes. Just as long as both people in the relationship are mature enough to make it work. As long as there is effort on both sides, everything should work out fine.

My mom's 48, and her boyfriend is 15 years younger than her, and they're happier than she ever was with my dad. However, at 21, I'm pretty sure it'd just be awkward to date someone that much younger than me haha.

Goodluck!

Yes, but not a good one.

Find someone that has the same time experiences as you that way you have something in common.

Relationships are hard, why make it harder.

yes, it's possible my parents are 12 years age difference and it hasn't changed anything, as long as you both love each other. i read your extended details, he sounds like a caring and loving guy, go for it.
