Singles & Dating - 15 November 2007

I met this guy at my best friend’s party and we really hit it off. Two days later, me, my best friend, him, and a guy friend went out but we had to cut it short. We’ve been talking for a while and he told me that he likes me and I admitted I do to. The problem is, he lives kinda far, we go to different schools, and we just met. But we really like each other. But I heard long distance things don’t really work. Should I even continue what happening then?

My boyfriend and I got into this terrible fight last week. He doesn't like the fact that i have guy friends, which is the stupidest thing i've herd. Out of nowhere he called me a '****** whore.' I got really mad and said some things I probaly shouldn't have said, i know i humiliated him bad. Anyways the problem is that he got mad and he actually slaped me across the face. Me being the girl i am hit him with my palm straight into his nose and walked out. i think i left him shocked.

Anyways i didn't talk to him this entire week and he's been leaving me messages in my phone saying how sorry he was, and how he deserved me brusing his nose (I do agree with him on that one.)

I don't know what to do. He's never been a violent person and i think the only reason he got mad was becaus he thinks one of my friend like me as more than a friend.

What should i do i can't avoid him for ever, but i don't really think i can get back together with him.?

Dating... You get treated by the guy spending money on you... and the end result usually ends with, you wanna come in for a drink by the women. Isn't it the same... he spends money on you for probabilty of sex... I would say, give me the money and I'll jus sleep with you.lol

I'm 18 and have recently become really great friends with a guy from school. It's so easy to talk to him and we always get along. Recently I have developed deeper feelings for him but I am afraid he doesn't feel the same way. We have been flirting alot lately and he kisses me on the cheek but I feel like he only thinks of me as a friend. I'm a really shy person so what do I do? Do I tell him how I feel? When me and my girl started living together, within a month I expressed my freedom. Within the next few weeks she felt free as well. It's funny between us but we don't do it in public.

Does anybody do the pull the finger thing with the grandkids. When our little grandkid was two and a half we got him to do it to his mother and I practically wet myself laughing. Aren't farts humorous in certain situations?

So I'm a 20yo college student who has been going out with my first boyfriend for 4 months. We've made out, but haven't gone farther. I want to stay a virgin till I'm married, and he's very supportive and cool about that - doesn't pressure me at all. My concern is that I might get to be too tempted and change my mind before I get married, just because of hormones and not because it's the right thing to do. I've looked up a couple sites about staying a virgin till marriage, and most of their practical recommendations are useless to me. I.E., not being in a place alone with the other person - I do college homework every day at his place, and there aren't many other convenient places to do it. Or not doing anything more than a chaste kiss - I've already made out with him, and don't exactly plan to stop, although we are really careful that our relationship isn't primarily about making out. So, supposing I stay with this guy long-term, does anyone have any good tips?

I hooked up with this guy i liked, and he is (pretty much) in it for the sex.

We talk like friends and everything, but he made up some lame excuse about not wanting to date because of break-ups etc.
(i think he's just saying he doesn't want to actually date me in general...)

So should I continue to hook-up(fool around) with him till' I get bored or try to find another guy that likes me(kinda hard)?

Or say that if he doesn't want the responsibility's of dating, then he can't have me?

(he's not like disrespectful when we go places btw)

So im 20 years old and my boyfriend is 18. Im not really into sex and he wants to very Very often. We've been dating for 15 months and i really do love him. I Love him very very much. This morning he really wanted to and i Really didnt want to, he was complaining and going on about it for an hour this morning and i finally said Fine! just so he would shut up. Ive been angry all day and when he got home he's expeting everything to be fine and that when he says sorry it will all be better. Its not the first time that this has happened either.
Am i justified in being upset? If anybody has any thoughts on this please help me.
Im so lost and i really dont know what to do.
