I was talking with a guy friend and as he was saying something, he came close, really slowly, and leaned his forehead on mine as he was talking and looking at me. What does that mean? Was he leaning in for a kiss?

i dont think he was leaning in for a kiss but it sounds like he has some feeling for you and it sounds to me that he just wanted to be close to you!

I think he wants to kiss you. But you haven't written what he did after he came close to your face and most importantly what was your reaction?
There might be some chemistry between the two of you and he is just trying to take things from being a guy friend to being a boy friend perhaps!!!
Did u like the proximity?if yes, then why not take his hint and give him a surprise by kissing him or doing exactly what he did to you. But yes, make sure that you would like to have a relationship with him as it might be so that the kiss won't be the end but might be a beginning of something much much more...

It sounds like he is romantic and maybe he does want a kiss but hes like asking for permission instead of going in for the kill.

i just tried to mentally picture that and it seems reallly awkward and strange and creepy. ask him to give you some space. he should ask before kissing not go in jfor the kill whenever he wants in mid sentencve.
