A few weeks ago i was at a party and i met this girl. We hung out together basically the whole night and hooked up. Now i'm starting to have feelings for her but i have no idea how she feels about me. This is the first time i've had feelings like this for a girl in a long time and i want to get to know her better and possibly even start a relationship but i just dont know how to approach her.

My friend is in a rough spot and a am not sure what to tell her she means a lot to me and I hate to see her in such pain. I asked her how she was doing and this is how she responded. " My life is falling apart. My family is falling apart, my body is falling apart, my heart is falling apart, we have to get rid of my dog, My Dad's been out of town now for five weeks, my moms like dying of pain and I can't do anything because of freaking ankle,( she tore all the ligiments in her ankle 3 weeks ago) my senior year is like crap from here on."
What can I do to take some of that pain away from her to make her feel better?

Assuming you don't think it's selfish.
His reason for not going is he thinks a wedding is pointless and boring, that he would have to rent a suit, and that it's not even of my someone of my immediate family, it's a cousin's.

I have been blessed/cursed with the look of a 13-17 year old. Bad part about it is that I am 26. I also have been hoplessly single since I was in undergrad. I am 5'4" so that really doesn't help much.
I want to meet/date men my age, but when they find out how old I am, they tend to still treat me like a girl the age they thought I was (anywhere from 13-17). I wear make-up from time to time but that usually doesn't help. I definitely dress my age, but teenagers are wearing the same thing as twenty-somethings these days anyway, so that doesn't matter. What are some suggestions for meeting new people? (preferably not internet dating)

It’s been a 5 month long distance relationship.I’ve been to visit him many more times than he to me,as I have less wknd commitments.I’m having a hard time at the moment, low self-esteem because of various things having happened,& I’m not sure if he is helping.Problem is, I’ve fallen in love with him,which just makes it worse.I am always sweet to him, send him presents etc, tell him nice things about him,visit him lots.But now I am feeling low,& while he has phoned me a lot to check if I’m ok he seems more worried that I am depressed cos I’m cheating on him!(I’m not).He wont come visit me cos he wants to play football on wknd.I know he really likes me,I just think he is maybe a bit insensitive&unaware sometimes of others feelings.Should I cool it off and concentrate on getting myself sorted out emotionally,or am I being over worried cos am down at the moment,and I should stay with him cos I love him?

i've been with my bf on and off for 3-4 years. i guess i was trying to be independent and didn't want to get too attached to anyone, so i broke up with him a few times. but we always managed to get back together.

then last year, i was diagnosed with cancer. he was with me the whole time i went thru chemo (including the months i was bald) and radiation. the cancer was in my leg, and after all the treatments, the doc still couldn't be sure if i had to have my leg amputated. afterwards, they removed the cancer, saved my leg, but i was left with a huge scan from my ankle up to my thigh. i was self-conscious of the scar, and was insecure about the future (ie. will i get cancer again?). so i broke up with my bf. i never gave him my reasons, but i had pushed him away so that he could move on and be someone he wouldn't have to worry about. he started dating someone a few months later. but now we're together again. we love each other and talked of marriage. but i'm still unsure.

ok so i dated this guy, but we didnt really last long. so we became best friends instead. and then he dated this girl and w.e that didnt last long either. then i realized i still really liked him but didnt want to say cause ik he liked this other girl waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy more but what i didnt know is he liked me to so now he asked his ex back out for maybe the millionth time and she said yes. =[ soo now i still really like him but i told him that too cause i asked what it would take for me to make him break up with her. and then we started talking but he wont break up with her for me cause he has worked to hard to get her. what should i do? become her best friend (again) and convince her to break up with him or wait???

So, there's this guy in a few of my questions who broke up with his girlfriend a while ago because she cheated on him. Him and I got kinda closer and he told one of our mutual friends that he liked me then she told me. I had feelings for him aswell, so we both flirted quite a bit and holding hands every once in a while and he even kissed the top of my head, but in a kidding kinda way. He told our mutual friend that he was worried that I didn't return the feelings but I hadn't told our friend that I actully do. I thought he got the message. Anyways, yesterday, I walked by him in the hallway, and we made eye contact but he didn't smile, or acknolage me, so when I went to wave he looked away. I let it go, figuring that he got distracted.

Later that day, we were in class together, and he wouldn't even look at me, let alone speak much. Just in a kind of non-chalent way though. So, I asked my friend 'What's up with him?!' and she replied 'He's back with his girlfriend.'

we broke up a couple months ago (we went out for almost a year), but i told him i still wanted to be friends. recently, he's been getting kind of annoying and he puts his arm around my shoulders and tries to hold my hand. i know he's not trying to hurt me or anything, but i just don't feel comfortable with him touching me like that. i tell him REPEATEDLY that i don't want him to touch me but all he says is why am i treating him like he's "a piece of cr*p" he says he does it because "he cares for me." do i have a right to not want him to touch me or am i just being cold hearted? oh yes, and also i recently finished a coarse on rape aggression (self defense) and i don't have the heart to do any moves on him. but if he keeps at it. should i? i don't really know if this is self defense or not.

know a person who is smartass..he always want to act as soeone who he is not ..he lies alot..he fakes alot...he is not honest person at all...he makes lies and talks behind people to show himself as a hero!!..that he is always right and people are bitchin to him...I hate this attitude...how do you put this person down if he has done somthing like this to you?...NO smartass answers pleas!!

ok so i cant make friends with girls...they hate me. Aparently im too competitive and weird...that being said, i tend to get along well with guys. Here in lies the problem...the only friends i have are guys who have crushes on me. Now...id understand that if I didnt have a long term boyfriend, but come on people...why is it that you guys still think you have a chance and 2 months down the line when nothign happens you get pissed off and flip out? Ive have been seeing this girl for almost two months. I asked her about a relationship a month ago and she said to my face she wanted a relationship out of this but she needed more time to get to know me because of bad past experiences. She said I could trust her. Then today after two months with me she gets back with her old boyfriend. She showed no signs whatsoever that she was going to do this. Would you be angry if this happened to you?
