Ive have been seeing this girl for almost two months. I asked her about a relationship a month ago and she said to my face she wanted a relationship out of this but she needed more time to get to know me because of bad past experiences. She said I could trust her. Then today after two months with me she gets back with her old boyfriend. She showed no signs whatsoever that she was going to do this. Would you be angry if this happened to you?

Yes, I would be and you have a right to be. However, once you are over the anger you can look at it like this: If she was the kind of woman who would string you along until she knew where things stood with her ex (which is probably what she did) you've been saved a whole lot of heartache and pain. You're better off without her.

It sounds like you were her rebound guy. Sorry. I would be a little angry, but I would get over it quickly. There are plenty of other women out there. I definitely wouldn't try to get her back. She might do the same thing to you. You never know, she could have used you to make her ex jealous. The whole "get to know you better" thing is her way of being there with you, but not REALLY being there with you. If some one asked her, she could have told them you were just friends. In that case, because of the way she set it up, she wasn't really lying.

Hell ya! Sounds like you were rebound guy and she led you on. She might not have done it on purpose though. Sometimes you don't know you still harbor feelings with someone until you are faced with them (meaning her ex)
But who the heck told you that you shouldn't be angry?! You can. It's unerstandable to feel angry and hurt right now, but it will go away. YOU didn't do anything wrong, these things just happen sometimes. Cheer up sweetie, there are lots of fish!

xoxo

No, I wouldn't be angry, I would be relieved that I found out now and not a year down the road. There are thousands of girls out there, just move on and find the better girl for you.

I would be a little upset but not as upset as I would be than if I had invested 2 years and really had plans for the future with this fickle lady. Be happy that she is happy and you are out of it. Wish her luck and maybe the door knob won't get her in the back side. DON'T TAKE HER BACK. Fooled you one shame on her. fooled you twice shame on you. And if she did it once,...she'll do it again.

I'd be upset and very angry and I would feel used as she was obviously just using you to get a reaction out of the boyfriend and that isn't fair on you.

The best way to get over it is just to ignore her and move on

yes that would make me angry...now you know you cannot trust this person....Move on she's not worth your time....you need someone that want only you...you don't want someone cbringing past relationships into your new relationship....I know it is especially difficult if you really liked this person but you are going to have to move on and find someone that is worthy of you

Good Luck

Yeah, I'd be angry. Better that it happened now rather than later. Forget her and move on, or you're in for a lot more pain.

Needing more time is a way of stalling.

Whenever I've used this line it was to cushion the blow of a pending break-up.
