and the person whom you love and trust the most is telling you, you're not working hard enough...how should you feel or react?

I have that problem with my husband... most of the time he only does that when he is stress out and don't mean it. Or it could be on some level he thinks he is not doing enough and it's easier to blame you then himself. Sit down with him and tell him that you take what he says to heart and that your trying your best. If he is one of those assholes who don't give a ****, then maybe you should plain and simple tell him it's not working you expect more out of me then I can give. I want to be with someone who expects me for me not how hard I work or how I look but because they love me. You let him know your a human and you have feelings too.

That's majorly disrespectful of your efforts. Remember the best way to lose weight (and keep it off) is to do it slowly at a rate of about 1-2lbs per weight.

Keep going and don't let your partner's negativity get you down. If you can see your body image changing then that should be enough for you and you should be able to let your partner's jibes go over your head.

well if you're overweight and trying to lose weight, then that's good, people are encouraging you and the person you love is trying to motivate you

if you're not overweight and losing a substantial amount of weight, well you should see a doctor.
