Singles & Dating - 14 November 2007

We're best friends, and we're all the time flirting back and forth, and we know the attraction is there, but I asked him out and he said that he wasn't quite sure if he wanted to go out with me or not, which I respect that.
But It's real obvious that he likes me, and I know he knows that I like him, so why won't he go out with me?
Is he just afraid that if we break up things will be wierd?
Or could it be something else?

I used to always cheat on my boyfriends, but with this one i've been faithful so far. i want to change the way i've been acting because i know that it hurts people, it's dishonest, and it's wrong. every time i ask someone about this they tell me that cheaters can't change. it's discouraging. it makes me feel like i should just give up dating so i won't mess up anyone else. what should i do?

So I met this guy a couple of weeks ago, and he doesnt live in the same state as me he lives on one coast and I live on the other. We keep in touch by the phone and IM for now. He is in the middle of a divorce and him and his wife are currently separated. And when Im talking to him he tells me how his wife got everything she ever wanted, and how he like to take care of a lady, and he tells me what his career allows him to buy. So, about a few days ago my cell phone was cut off(hard times) and he noticed that it was of course. So he insisted that he would pay for it to turn it back on. Well unfortunetly my mother(best friend) who I love so much is going through hard times too. And she needed to borrow $350 from him. So she told me to ask him he would do that for her and she will pay him back this friday when she gets her paycheck. When I asked him he said yes. So its been almost three 2 and a half days and I havent recieved anything for my phone nor my mother. Adding more to the story..

I asked this question before I lost 75lbs and was what kind of answers i would get now.

After college I have had noway to meet girls. He asks 4 money too much!!

BACKGROUND INFO:
1. Me and Boyfriend have been together for 8 months
2. We’ll be engaged soon- married next year( He has
bought the ring and yes I have seen it ;-)
3. I make three times more than him……..
4. He asked me for money about 20 times- 10 of those
times were for necessary expenses which I have helped out but had to rough it a little without the money. The other 10 times were for unnecessary expenses like an I.POD, T.V. Clothes

Problem:
He feels there's nothing wrong with asking me for money..

and

I feel offended and irritated because he should be able to live off what he earns.

Please answer any one or all of the following:

How do I explain to my boyfriend that continually asking me for money and material things is offensive and irritating?

What's the difference between asking and begging?

Do you think there's something wrong with a guy that continually asks a woman for money?

sweating and out of breath; these guys are in nothing but jeans. shirts and beaters thrown on the ground because it's so hot. they're loading heavy boxes and racks of old clothes onto a truck for the drama team. they're performing a play in another city.

one of them looks up as he gets off the bus and this girl is staring at his chest. she smiles and winks, then keeps walking. he sees her around at school but she never initiates conversation and doesn't notice him. she smiled at him once, but he's noticed her smile at other strangers in the same friendly, approachable manner.

when I call my guy , sometimes he doesnt call me back right away -i have to call another time to reach him even though I leave him a message . Then tonight we were sapose to talk at 9 .I have called him 2 times & no answer. I love the look of an hourglass figure and I think tht I do have one because I have a butt and boobs but my friends always say I'm so skinny so I feel like i dont have a body then. theres this guy i like but hes SUCH a player. everything else is perfect except that. he flirts with all the pretty girls at school even when he had a girlfriend. he flirted with me at the very begining of the school year when we didnt even know each other. then he stopped all of a sudden for like 2 weeks. then like 2 weeks later he started up again. he recently asked me for my number and told me how he really felt about me. of course i was flattered but i told him "id think about it" as i walked away. he sweetly asked for a hug and i gave him one then he goes how about a little kiss on the cheek. but im not that easy..im kinda conservative in a way plus im slightly shy so i turned him down and said "no all you get is a hug" and walked away. then the next day i saw him and the halls and he goes "pshhh" when he looked at me then he rolled his eyes. i thought he was playing around because he often does so i smiled and kept walking. then he turned around and gave me the finger. so

basically i was just standing there with my mouth hanging open. he laughed and walked away. it crushed me cause i really started getting feelings for him. its been about two weeks later and hes steady ignoring me. im wondering if i did something because its like he went from worshiping me to hating me overnight. im sooo confused

My sister has a boyfriend for....maybe going on to two years. (I lost count....) Well...in class there's this guy that always speaks with me, her, and another friend of ours. Does he really like her? He talks a lot to her and sometimes sits next to her. I think he might be very interested. Of course, my sister is starting to like him. Is she willing to break up a great relationship she has now....for some guy that's brand new??
I feel horrible because her boyfriend and I have been friends since elementary.

Why is it when people get drunk they say something you never heard before like I hate you or I love you. Or do things they usually dont like smack or grab your behind. It happens to me when we have parties. My husbands friends grab me passing by but it only happens when they are drunk.
