theres this guy i like but hes SUCH a player. everything else is perfect except that. he flirts with all the pretty girls at school even when he had a girlfriend. he flirted with me at the very begining of the school year when we didnt even know each other. then he stopped all of a sudden for like 2 weeks. then like 2 weeks later he started up again. he recently asked me for my number and told me how he really felt about me. of course i was flattered but i told him "id think about it" as i walked away. he sweetly asked for a hug and i gave him one then he goes how about a little kiss on the cheek. but im not that easy..im kinda conservative in a way plus im slightly shy so i turned him down and said "no all you get is a hug" and walked away. then the next day i saw him and the halls and he goes "pshhh" when he looked at me then he rolled his eyes. i thought he was playing around because he often does so i smiled and kept walking. then he turned around and gave me the finger. so

basically i was just standing there with my mouth hanging open. he laughed and walked away. it crushed me cause i really started getting feelings for him. its been about two weeks later and hes steady ignoring me. im wondering if i did something because its like he went from worshiping me to hating me overnight. im sooo confused

I think he's playing around with you, I kinda know someone like that in my school. Just have to move on or you could flirt with other guys to if you want(not to try and make him jealous though). Pay attention to yourself more. Some guys don't like to get to serious so instead they rather play around with a girl.

He is just that. A player. He is hoping you will come to him. Then he is the one in charge, and he will make you do things. Like kiss him on the cheek. At first. If you don't do these things he will flip you off and dump you instantly. The more you come back to him the more he will make you do. Some girls may like this type thing, but what it really means is he is a control freak and a jerk. So choose carefully.

What's your problem?
His behavior is not the problem....it's your low-self-worth reaction to him (or anyone) that is the problem - for you.
If you had or could develop higher/healthier self-esteem and self worth (sadly lacking in many teens), his good/bad, on/off, disrespectful behavior would not get to you and you'd be drawn to friends that are more kind, sensible, caring, honest, real, etc. than the guy you are currently strung out over.
If I were you (and I was a teen once), I'd get busy studying all about self-esteem and learn how to deal with insincere liars etc. soon's possible. When you feel better about you and respect yourself, phony liars won't be able to effect you at all and you're more likely to find true/honest love with high self worth others.

He's just mad because you don't eat up his bullsh!t like all of the other girls. Ignore him right back, when he thinks he is making you sad by ignoring you, he will only do more things to crush your feelings. He's just trying to show off in front of his friends find someone more mature he's not worth it.

this is weird cuzz im having the same problem! first you didn't do anything wrong. the guy i know does the exact same thing. just when he's ignoring you have fun and talk to other guys, when he is talking to you try not to totally fall for him. it's SO hard but its definately working for me.

if you really like him... give him that kiss on the cheek. just make sure that he doesn't have a girlfriend first. ask him why he was ignoring you.
