Give me a list of preferrential, NOT NECESSARILY ESSENTIAL, traits in a boyfriend/partner.

You should know that I am conducting this experiment with the utmost seriousness, and I really would like to find out more about the female mind, so please humour and enlighten me.

I am a very mature guy when it comes to women, no giggly little girls please, only intelligent women/young girls who are interested in real, serious men.

The crux of this question is I would like to find out what you ladies would consider positive traits in males.

I've been going out with my boyfriend for 14 months, we lost our virginities to each other, and I know that he loves me so much. He is really shy, painfully nice, and I am his first relationship. But...I mean...guys don't do it for me. As in, you know, I'd rather be with a girl or no one at all. And not only that, but I'd be more comfortable with someone who is on my same wavelength: loud, outgoing, laid back and radical, rather than someone who speaks with two worded sentences. It KILLS me inside and I feel TERRIBLE just THINKING about breaking up with him, but I am the world's worst dumper. (Usually I try to get them to break up with me, but I know he wouldn't ever.)

Should I stay with him and see if this blows over (although, I know it will come back; I have gone through this three times before in our relationship), or take life as it comes?

Ok, so there is this guy that I really like, and he is super nice and all and talking to him is easy because he isn't like...rude and blunt. Anyways, I know for a fact that another girl likes him to, and she is way pretty. And this poor guy doesn't know a thing. How do I tell him I like him with out being creepy and/or stake a claim to him to let the other girl know she has competion?

I've been best friends with this guy for 20years, we're both 22. But recently, well since New Years, i've been feeling really different around his brother, and i think i've fallen completely in love with him! Before i came to uni, we spent nearly every day together, he had a gf then but he doesn't anymore. I don't know whether i should tell him how i feel, because i risk an entire friendship on that one statement, and regardless of how i feel, i don't know whether it's worth it! What do i do??

I am a guy with a different type of foo fetish at least I think it is. I love comparing feet.. the size of them to be exact. and it really doesnt even have to involve me if I see two women with their feet side by side I find it hard not to stare or even better if they are sole to sole comparing...of course I like comparing too but am really shy about doing so. and the strangest thing is I like women whose feet are bigger

I'm really worried that I'm a 'sack of potatoes' in bed! I just don't know how you're supposed to move! I've never had the guts to ask a guy but I suspect it may explain why I'm always getting dumped.

And do you think it matters if they're married, or "only" in a committed relationship?

okay well i think i might like this guy. but the problem is, that i don't think we click right. i mean he's funny and has a great personality. we talk everyday and we just laugh the whole time we are together. almost everyday he tells me that he loves me and it's soo sweet. everyone in our class yells at us for flirting. but the problem is i think he might like someone else though. so basically my question is, should i like him?

Hey, guys....

Well, I have this guy friend that I just REALLY like. But, the way he acts around me is just so...weird.

One day, he wanted me to sit by him in every class, and when I finally did, he kept asking me if I liked anyone. He also asked me if I was "his boo." He always said hi to me, too.

On another day, he doesn't even agknowlege me, and ignores me the whole day. The one time I say "hi" and he answers back saying, "you know, I'm not always my happy, jolly self Chelsea," in an annoying way.

Does he like me? Or does he think of me as just a friend.... I need your help please!

Thank you guys so much! :D

I've known him for about 6 weeks and we see each two or three times a week. The second week of knowing me, he blew me a kiss, then said, "just kidding". Since then, we've gotten a lot more comfortable with each other, and had a couple of good laughs together. When I called him on club business, he hung up with, "Goodnight, get some sleep." The problem is, I can't tell if he's just being nice or if he likes me, so I want to encourage him by dropping some hints of my own. What are some ways I can let him know that I like him without being too obvious?

In high school I used to be picked on and ridiculed by girls because I was unpopular, overweight, had glasses, and was nerdy. As I went to college I learned more to improve myself and athletic ability. I became so good enough that I joined the football team, gained muscles, and started using contacts. Some of these same girls who ridiculed me and believed I was not in their class wanted to go with me and I turned around rejected their offer and laughed hard in their face. How should this revenge be ranked from 0-10 in greatness? Feel free to go higher.

My boyfriend of 7 months is taking his ex on a plane ride for her birthday because she has never been on a plane. They have a kid together who is going to but I still feel that it is a pretty sweet gesture for someone that he is not with anymore. He said that I was over reacting but I'm not sure if I am.

I'm going on a first date with this boy that really likes me tomorrow night. I am not sure what we are doing as he is keeping it a surprise. We have been talking online and on the phone for about a month now and we met at a party. I am so nervous. How do I shake these fears? What should I do so that he finds me interesting? I am so afraid that he likes me through talking with me but won't like me when he hangs out with me and that will crush me.

Also what should I wear? I bought some jeans and I bought this black tank top with sequence all in the front. I have black uggs I could wear with this but should I not wear uggs? I think from the hints he has dropped that we are going to a corn maze so I don't think I should be dressy.

I was cheated on by one of my ex's, and another one dumped me and went for my best friend instantly. I think that was the whole cause of my issues, but now, I can't cope.

My boyfriend and I fight over every little thing--he got fired from his work, and we got into a fight over how he could do better than where he works--he ended up saying he didn't need to support me because I don't live under his roof, and that he has a life. This, of course, hurt me, and I made the comment that, "Oh, I'm just a piece that can be cut off?" And he responded with, "I'm glad you got it right."
Because of my insecurities {feeling unattractive, etc} and my paranoia, I've found myself snooping through his mail and phone, etc. There's a girl down his street that's infatuated with him and shoves it right into my face that she could "get him again if she wanted to"--she had him a few times before, after all.
I don't know if I should consider therapy, or what? it's become so bad, that it's overtaken me.

I'm 17. Me & Jared have been "talking" or "unofficially dating" for 8 months now, starting from the end of last school year. Then summer hit, we didn't see each other for 3 months b/c of camps out of state. But we kept in touch. Now that school's started again, we've gotten to see each other for the past 1 1/2 months.

Our friends ask, "So what's with you and Jared?" or they ask him, "what's with you and Kristen?" & we both reply with, "I dont know."

Then a couple friends asked him 2 days ago, "Do you still like her?" Jared said, "Yes I do still really like her, I'm just not sure she still likes me & I don't know if she wants to be in a relationship, but it's all in her hands." So they came back & told me & urged me to talk to Jared about us.

Today I said to him, "our friends told me what you guys talked about regarding us." & he said he really didn't remember. But did he really not? It seems he might have pretended to forget. But I dont see why he would... I dont get it! help!

i have a friend who used to have a horrible life. her ex-boyfriend would always hit her, none of her other friends really liked her, her parents died in a car crash and the foster parents she was living with were horrible. they treat her like crap and lowered her self-esteem so much that she actually considers herself "an embarrasment" when she is really the most amazing girl i have ever met. they even beat her and.... other stuff that she told me about in confidence so i'm not going to say it here
a couple months ago i was over at her house and i saw her dad hit her and i got so pissed off i mad her pack some cloths and come stay with me. now she sleeps in my room and i'm on the couch
almost every night since then we've stayed up and talked, sometimes for hours, and usually about her life. a lot of times it ends up with her crying on my shoulder, and more often than not i stay with her in my room until she falls asleep in my arms

I have a friend whose fiance cheated on her and she is 35. I told her she is should be wise enough to leave. She is thinking about staying.

I am asking b/c I could see a 22 year-old staying but not someone who is 35.
