But now she appears to be disgusted by them, and accuses me of ruining her good day. She used to tell me she was very attracted to my mind, and she told she deeply appreciated my social insights. She had requested that I give her opinions. I had asked her to tell me if the point ever got reached when she doesn't want them anymore, to avoid problems of the sort that have now arisen. Suddenly I am told that I am always ruining things. This accusing me of being out to make her feel bad---it sucks!
For example, she took her 9 yr old girl on a haunted hayride, involving actors doing things like hanging a girl from a tree and pretending to stab the girl while she screamed for help. I said "I'm glad you guys had so much fun, great!" Then I was silent. I said I need to think. She got pissed off. I explained that I question our increasing social practice of extremely violent dramatizations in the name of entertainment, saturating kids with the stuff. So now, I'm the bad guy. ?
