I am in love with one of my good friends, she is my best friend and hope to be more someday, she doesn't think of me like that, but I know she still loves me though. I would do ANYTHING for her. I would love her if I was blind and never seen how beautifull she was. I would jump in front of a train just to shove her out of its path, I would take a bullet, I love her, and her 2 beautiful children, and the most important thing, I TELL her I love her everyday. sometimes I dont hear it back, but I don't care, I'll get over these strong feelings some day, but not yet cause TRUE true love feels so good. I will still be her friend forever regardless of if we are ever together, though being together would just help a lil better. she is AMAZING, and I have felt this way since the day we met, over 2 years ago.

I know that love, I live it every day with the man I chose to marry. We have been together for 23 years and I would do everything you mentioned and way more for my old head. He is the best of the best. Let me say that it was not peaches and cream in the begining, oh we have been through so much. I still don't have the house I dreamed of and some other dreams I had. I don't care any more, he is all I need and that is plenty. So many things happend that what is a house? I realized that to me is a happy family and I have that, he has been there for me in good and bad times, and if he dies before me, I won't be with no one else because no one could love me as much as he has. THAT'S MY BABY!!!! for ever and ever and ever........

Yes, it's funny because my girlfriend and I were just talking about this tonight. I've been reading "Unlikely Angel", and I was telling her about the book and how things seem to really happen for a reason. The day I met my husband, it was New Years Eve and my friends and I were at a club, and I remember I wanted to dance and no one was asking. I turned around and I remember seeing my husbands face and all the other faces were fogged except for his. I told my friend to tell him to come dance with me and he did, I feel as though he and I were suppose to meet, and we've been married for 9yrs next month. My answer to your question is YES, I've even told my husband that if anything were to happen to him, I would never ever remarry and thats a fact. Because there is no one like him, he is the perfect guy for me. I would compare every guy to him and as far as I'm concerned no one could come close.
Don't get me wrong, we have our ups and downs just like any other couple, but I still love him.

haha no I could never love some one that much, but hey I would never get married in the first place and dont even want a girl friend to much drama and bullshit that is being brutally honest. I have never been in love and I can garuntee you I would never ever take a bullet for anyone to me that is stupid my life is more important then the next persons, not even a family member.

Well the one I wanted forever is gone... four years in November. And single and having a hard time with the concept of anyone else. I'm only late 20s and don't want to miss out on things in life, but at the same time I can't stand the heart breaking idea of it being anyone but *him*... he who I would trade places with in a heartbeat and give the rest of my years to so he could live out the rest of his life.
This is the one that just, you look at them, or think of them, and they just feel like *HOME* to you. A part of yourself existing in another body.

i believe in true love.i love my girlfriend truly and i believe she does too.no matter what happens to her,i will be by her side support and protect her.if someone were to kill her i will help her by covering her.if her face is deformed?haha,when i fall in love with a girl i have 4 conditions.one of them is that i will never see if she is pretty or not.there are billions of woman who are really gorgeous.so just a normal looking one will do.since i really love my girlfriend,of course if she deformed i will still stay by her side.
her kiss will melt at my face but stay in my heart forever.Love will cause you to do many stupid and foolish things.when you are single,not dating,you thought that your life is the most important.but when you have a boyfriend/girlfriend,you will feel like everything in this world have changed.her life became the most important in your heart.so i will protect her even if i were to die...remember that girls are human who have feelings too.

what your talking about usually disaapers with time and is replace by friendship and contentment.Usaully if you can make it past 10 yrs your good but the 6 yr itch is a horrible test and life will always throw curve balls .

sounds very romantic.. i think its romantic love not true love. romantic love is fleeting and u just fall for the person w/o u having to decide for it. true love is a choice. u dont fall in love u did choose to love the person. and since u choose to love the person u can be ready for the responsibility that entails. it will all be up to you how you wud demonstrate ur true love. attraction and passion and even the feeling can be all gone but the choice to love is still there and u choose to love the person and desires only wat is good for that person, thats true love.
