I'm just wondering if there are any other people out there who have been in relationships, but have never fallen in "Love". Me personally, I think it's because I’m not able to get close enough to people to allow it to happen. I just wanted to know everyone else’s opinion’s on the subject. Insight, stories doesn't matter.

When is it too much? I used to watch a lot of porn, but then I quit because I wanted to, now it still pops into my head and I interpret innocent things as sexual. Is there something wrong with me? Will I always be like this? I'm a 20 year old guy. Is this normal?

I've had light-bondage fantasies ever since I became sexually mature, but for 12 years I have never acted any of them out with any of my boyfriends - I just fantasize about it in the privacy of my own bedroom.

Now I'm single, and a friend of mine suggested that I place an ad. Well, I did, and I received tons of responses! But of course I'm scared - there's the safety factor for one thing. Also, I don't think I could ever have a serious relationship with someone if we acted out my fantasies. It would have to be just sex and nothing else.

So I'm not sure what to do - play it safe and just keep torturing myself with unfulfilled fantasies? Or take a risk and see what happens? Has anyone ever been in a similar situation?

Thanks!

I LOVE oral sex. When we started dating he went down a couple of times but then he quit. He says he doesn't like to but every other guy I dated loved to do it. He said it grosses him out b/c that's where I urinate from. I told him that sometimes it grosses me out to go down on him if I think that way. I told him that pleasuring him is worth it and once I see how excited he gets it turns me on and I enjoy it. I've tried to compromise and ask for it only on special occasions. I've told him what I like. I'm a very clean person and at the very least always trimmed but usually next to bare. So is he being selfish or am I being selfish for asking him?

Don't you see that the stuff that happens in the movies and romance novels is not real? *Real Life* doesn't happen like that. There is no *Prince Charming*, no *Mr. Right*, no "soul mate". That's why you're all getting played like Sega and laid like carpet.

Recently, (6 months ago) I started dating my best friend of 12 years. I guess he has had a crush all these years. Our relationship is perfect as in, we are very compatible and respectful and very much in love and he says he is "very very happy." Last night I found out he is getting me a computer for christmas and possibly a new couch. I almost cried. Not because I was thrilled, but because it seemed so impersonal. I don't have much in life, I chose a degree in human services, so big material items don't matter to me. Am I a ***** for not being aprpeciative for what he plans to get me? Or am I crazy for wanting a small bracelet or necklace because it is more romantic? I am open to all answers-even if they are rude because I always liek to be more self aware.

My ex boyfriend contacted me for the first time in a couple of years last week on tuesday. I was on my way to the gym and so we spoke for about 15 minutes and I had to get off. He said he would call me later that night.
He didn't call later, but called me while I was at work the next day. I missed his call, but he left a voicemail saying that he would call me back. That was last wednesday.
He hasn't called me back yet. Maybe he thought I would call him instead, but he called me from 2 different numbers so I didn't call because I didn't know where the numbers where actually from and if they were his.
Whats up with this? do you think he will call back? or do you think I should call him?
I'm sort of against calling him back - when he said he'd call me.

Any ideas?

I know lots of people who are attracted to or have been in long-term relationships many times. But I rarely meet guys I am attracted to and if I do, they then have to clear the hurdles of being single and interested in me - which is less and less likely as I get older. (Im 34).
I have met a guy who has a great personality and is great to me but I don't get butterflies in my stomach about him. I enjoy his company a lot but I worry that it's jsut because I'm not used to guys taking an interest in me, romantically or otherwise.
Is the whole romantic, butterflies in the stomach thing a myth? Do you either get great compatibility or great physical attraction and have to make a choice? Does anyone ever find both - in all honesty?
