If he doesn't know that he should give you a corsage, then I'm sorry that you're going to the prom with someone who should be riding the short bus to school. That's common knowledge and tradition.

Blokes don't usually do subtle so hinting probably won't work. If you are friends/bf/gf already then just tell him that you'd like one.

well last year, my date didn't even think about getting me one so i just called him up and was like hey so i was thinking about prom and stuff and i was wondering what color ur suit was so i could match ur corsgae (the thing that goes in the pocket of the suit) and then say becaus ei want us to match...... and my date got me a corsage and some flowers that matched my dress after that.

marcy it is already expected i mean it's just the way it is. the guy is always suppose to give the girl a corsage and if he doesn't than he is cheap

he should know that every girl wants a corsage. just casually metion it. like when you're with your friends and him, say something like "i think a (color) corsage would look great with my dress"

say "my dress is such and such a color, so make sure you get a corsage that matches. if you want, i can help you get it"
