for girls its really easy to fall in love with a guy, but for guys it seems not real or they take way longer. what makes a guy fall in love? what does a girl do to make that happen?

He and I dated online for a few months. He broke up with a girlfriend from his town to date me. He said he'd wait until we could meet in person and see if we had any chemistry together.
After a couple of months he told me he couldn't deal with the distance between us so he broke up with me.

A friend of ours, a girl that seemed to be my friend and who talked to him online everyday after we broke up, is now in love with him and has made the plane trip from her city to his city to tell him that. He told me he does not like her and that if something happens, it will be only a one-night-stand.

So, what do you think of what she did to me? Pretending to be my friend and taking my guy? And what do you think of her going over there? Do you think he's telling me the truth?

She is 28. He is 33, divorced and has a 3 yr. old daughter.

Is this only a booty call or could they be in love and he didn't want to tell me? And, most importantly, should I even CARE about all of this????

heres the short version.... started seeing a guy mid july...best 3 weeks of my life...then he starts acting all funny...he has a lot of **** goin on in his life so i let it slide...says he needs space one day and the next he is kissing me and askin me to come stay at his house...then he says i have too much **** going on for a relationship.. he is a cop and mp for army..leaving in january. when we first met he asked if him leaving was a problem and i said no..he said good bc he wouldnt want me to get involved if i wouldnt be able to deal with it....is "i have too much **** going on for a relationship" a cop-out for loss of interest or seein someone else? just not sure if i really beleive that excuse seeing not two months ago he said he was "in this for the long haul". im 27 he is 25 with a year old son...any opinions??

i love this guy n he loved me too,but one day when i asked about getting married he told me that we can't get together because he is younger then me.he knew about this since beginning but he lied to me about his age in beggining.he said he was afraid that after knowing this i'll never start this relationship.but now after knowing this he is backing up saying his parents won't accept me.i m soo mad at him that i m feeling like killing him.how can he do this to me whom he said he love the most.now i m all alone.want to get back to him want to teach him a nice leson but dont know what to do?i still love him.

He moved out last saturday, we argue much and we've only been together for year and a half. He was lying to me about stupid ****, but in a scary way...like...he would run off a story off the top of his head and he sounds very convincing, until I find out he lied to me later on. I do love him and I feel sick thinking about him not being around me. He told me the other day, he has fancied me since i first met him (he had a gf at the time, she hated me because she thought there was something going on between us, there wasnt though, im not like that at all) and he said he still fancies me now (he has a newish gf) he told me hes always liked me and wants to get really serious. Alright, i have been talking to this girl since the end of the summer, we used to go to high school together but didn't talk much. She is this wonderful girl from Slovakia, exceedingly smart, very beautiful smile, and a slight sexy European accent. Now to brag or anything i am not bad catch myself, lol Now its our first year of university and she is at the U of Ottawa, and i stayed at U of Toronto. We have chatting on msn for like 6 hours everyday till 3 in the morning. I have come to realize that she and i are very much alike, our tastes are similar etc. I was dating a couple of girls this past month but i just couldn't get her out of my head, and i think that she is the one i should be with, if anyone. So the problem is she is 300 km away, and i have never had such a long distance relationship or know how i could work. Plus i don't know if she likes me at the same level. i'll call them 1, 2 & 3

1) he's in two of my classes, plays football, has had a crush on my since the beginning of the year. he always sits next to me & talks, and his best friend laughs cuz he's hitting on me. he's almost as tall as me (i'm 5'5") and wiry/muscular. tan skin, brown eyes, light brown hair, part asian (doesn't look very asian though)

2) is the best friend of guy #1. he's less handsome but still kinda hot. he's always staring at me and talking, not as much as guy #1. he doesn't do any sports but he's got a good bod, stylish, surfer-style hair, pretty eyes, and he's nice and smart. he's really funny, in two of my classes.

3) he's blonde and sporty, but has a little acne. he's preppy and friends with all the jocks, and he's never really talked to me but stares at me CONSTANTLY. i mean, it's almost stalker-ish. i like him though.

I dated a guy for about 6 months, but we were good friends for about 11 months before we started seeing eachother romatically. After 6 months we drifted apart because he lost his job and sort of cut me (and everyone) out his life while he was looking for a new job. It took him 5 months to find a job in his field. All the time he was looking, I always let him know that I am here for him even htough he rarely called me anymore. I always sent him a card, or interview clothes, or lottery tix (lol) and nice phone calls, but he didn't really acknowledge any of them, which I blamed on him being a little depressed, so I brushed it off.

Now he has a job that he is doing well in finacially and he satred to come around. And then poof, I called him once and told him how crazy I am about him and he didn't call me back for 2 weeks.

I left him a VM last week - l said I won't pursue him anymore, that I know he could care less about me.

He hasn't called me back. I guess I was right?
