Singles & Dating - 20 August 2007

I was driving home on Friday after picking up my kids and accidentally ran over a racoon. Since my girls were in the car and I did not want to upset them I did not have the heart to stop.

I shared this experience with my husband. He acted very sypathetic and took me in his arms.

When we were in bed that night, he shared with me that me excerting my power while driving really excited him. He was "visiably" excited.

At first I thought it was strange but after a while I kinda got into it a little. I was playing with my feet like I was pushing the gas pedal and started talking dirty to him. We got really excited and you get the point.

Is this weird or has anyone else had their significant other tell then something like this???

hi.. i havent seen or heard from my ex boyfriend in 2 months...last night i went to some lounge by me with my friend and i saw my ex kissing some girl...im not going to lie, even though i moved on, it did bother me a bit...after he hooked up with her he was by the bar by himself so i went up to him and said hi and we started talking...after that i saw some guy who i knew and we started talking (thats all, i didnt hook up with him or anything)...i saw my ex staring at us that he even came up to me while i was talking to the other guy...after that i walked out with my friend and that guy and his friend and i kno my ex saw it bc he tried getting my attention..then he calls me and leaves a message on my voicemail saying "i want you" but ur with another guy".. i get a call from him the next day apologizing to me if he said anything bad the night before cause he was drunk. then he asked me how i been? and what ive been up to? i mean seriously what does he want from me??

My BF and i have been together for a while now. We've been through so much together, including me wanting to kill myself. But i'm way over that now. Anyways. I told him a while ago, that i want my first time to be with him, and he agreed to it, but HE wanted to wait longer. He's 2 years older than me, and i'm almost 17. im unemployed and at an all time low in my life. I have no kids and afraid at my age i will never be able to have any if i ever find a decent man. even though my life sucks and i wish i could be married and have a child i didnt want to be hit anymore or worse get aids from his cheating. I WAS JUST TIRED OF HIS ABUSE! but i still feel like i will always be miserable and alone and never have a kid. if i do find a nice guy will i have downsyndrome child? ok, i met this lad through my mate and yes i do i like him alot i alwayz listen to him when he is down i alwayz try to help him we talk like every day we would ring each other the other night we were talking to 1 in the morning till 4 in the morning. he complements me. we went ice skating and we were holding hands and llinkig arms. today he rang me up and we were talking but this is the second time this has happened he alwayz seem to bring up my mate who introduced me to him.....(my mate gets along with everyone she knows alot of people she even talks to this lads sister)......i am getting this feeling maybe he is talking to me to get to my mate but my mate is already seeing some one but i dont know why i am getting this feeling..........does any body think the same as me?

I have been dating my girlfriend for 8 months now but i have know her since she was just a little girl. know everything between us has been great shes showed me and made me feel thing that i hadent before and im sure she has too. One thing about her that i dislike is the fact that everytime i ask her something her asnwer to me is (why?) and the samething over and over till i get pissed at her. every day since the first day of school, this guy who i have in 6/8 of my classes that i really like is always staring at me and sighing (sometimeshe smiles too) in every one of them.
but, on friday, he asked another girl out.
when thay were going out,he would still sigh (and wink) .over the weekend, she broke up with him.when i asked her why she did, she told me that he had another gf. ive known him for a pretty long time and he seems way to nice to do that. but, he still looks at me and sighs every time a look at him.

Ok so i have about 3 problems.

1-i cant move on from one of my exes. I know i loved him then but i thought i would at least be able to move on and kinda push him to the back of my mind. But i cant and i would love to be friends with him but its one of those relationships where we either have to be dating or we dont speak at all.

2-i like 2 guys. One is a guy i consider one of my best friends. Hes always making me laugh whenever im talking to him. And hes really sweet. Hes the same age as me but i dont think he likes me for more than a friend.

3-the other guy i like Ive known for a while. We werent always close. It was just this summer when we actually started to hang out. Hes 2 years older than me but he lives REALLY close to me. And i was hanging with him and a group of my other friends. And he came up to me and asked me if i wanted to take a walk with him. And we hung out from that moment until we had to go.And he acts like he likes me. and i feel safe around him. -HELP ME!

I originally join facebook to keep in touch with my friends who went off to college. I never once thought of it as an online dating site. Anyway, I added this guy as my friend a while back and every now and then he will send me a message and I respond to them. Well now it's been two months of us going back and forth with the messages. Now he has sent me a message saying he wants to meet up with me and he left his number. I'm not really into meeting up with people that I meet off the Internet, and besides if he thinks he can meet up with me that easily, it will kind of make me look like the easy girl that hooks up with Internet strangers. How can I reply to his request without coming off too harsh?

I was told that a person can tell if they are in an actual relationship when the two people begin to have disagreements. Do you agree?
I'm asking because this man wouldn't admit his true feelings for me, but yet he would become jealous and we would find ourselves having disagreements.

A girl I know is making very public allegations about a man I also know, regarding rape. She claims that he tried to have sex with her when she was asleep a number of months ago when they were in a relationship. As far as I knew at the time they split up amicably about a month ago.

She seems very angry and agrieved about it and seems to be making sure that as many people know about it as she can.

He on the other hand completely denies it and seems very shocked that she has suddenly started making these claims.

In my opinion he seems to be a decent chap and doesn't - as far as I know - have a history of sexual misconduct. She seems to be a fairly nice person but does have a reputation for being a little crazy and manic.

I really don't know what to think. I feel as though I ought to take a position on this as it is such a serious allegation but I really can't make out whether or not she is launching a smear campaign on an innocent guy or whether he really has a dark side.

Ive become extremely close with my mother. I live away from most people and i haven't had sex in years. I feel extremely desperate for a female in my life. I am also deeply longing to have sex again. Problem is I have some social anxiety issues and i live where there is not many females. I get desperate for contact and i sometimes go in the other room and hug my mother. I got in a frenzy one night and started kissing her ''on the cheek'' and hugging her hard. I even told her how desperate i was for sex then I stormed out in a rage. I feel like I can't live without her. My father passed away and since then it's been hell. I became depressed. What should I do about this?

I have heard some guys say that they like women "with meat on their bones", but I never seem to see attractive guys date bigger women. I'm not talking huge or obese, just women who aren't SKINNY. Does that mean some guys like women with bigger boobs and butt and hips, or are there guys out there who actually like women who are a little overweight? I've also noticed that the guys who do say they like bigger women are from an ethnic background other than white/Caucasian.
Thoughts? Opinions? Experiences?

That would be me (the 51 year old woman) and I don't notice men checking me out, that is, very rarely, like once a year or so. Then it is a guy in his 70's.

I am ok looking, look maybe a little younger than 51, but I am no ex-supermodel. And I've had no "work".

PS I am happily married, but everyone's ego could use a boost.
