I've never been petite (I'm 5'6") and never skinny (been average to obese) and I've dated plenty of guys and been married twice...so the answer to your question is no. ☺

No not at all everyone has different peferences. I'm petite and skinny and I can't get evry guy I want. One of my guy friend say I'm not thick enough for him (not that I want him) My brother said he would never date a skinny girl he said they'd have to have some meat on their bones.
I believe most guys kinda want a in between. Not to skinny, not to fat. not to tall, not to short...etc
