ok so ive been invited to this BOYS and girls PARTY on friday....im 13 yrs old but my parents dont like the idea of me goin because theres gonna be guys....and cuz its gonna end at 12:00a.m...how do i convince them or am i still to young for those kind of partys?

oh and it starts at 6:00 so u guys kno...and theyre will be atleast 2 adults to supervise..

This is completely up to your parents. There is no objective right or wrong answer to this. I know that's a hard thing to accept especially when others your age are going but parents decide these things for their children.

Have your parents call the supervisors to talk to them. It may help clear up some doubts your parents might be having and reassure them that there will, in fact, be someone to control the party and watch over. Also, if they don't like the fact that it lasts until 12, just negotiate a better time with them for you to come home... like maybe 9:30 or 10, that way you still get to go and have fun and your parents will be happy too. Hope this helps.
P.S. If they still decide they don't want you to go, try and see if you can find something else to do instead. Like ask a few of your close girlfriends to come over and have a sleepover instead. Something that your parents will aprove of more, you can still have fun that way too until they feel more comfortable with you attending this kinds of partys.

Listen to your parents...they have your best interests in mind. Depending on the adult supervision at this party....anything could happen and you could be put in a compromising postion that you could be sorry for.

Well, there will be girls there, and I hope there will be adults to supervise. You don't have to stay until midnight - leave a little earlier (I don't know when it supposedly starts). But as long as you're careful, I don't see why you shouldn't go....

yes you are too young to deal w/boys n their parties.. but if there are adults to seriously supervise things then there is nothing wrong in hanging out n making frnds!

you are not to young i am 13 too and my parents did not let me go but i told them that they could come and stay for a while to get to know them and leave it was fun even though my parents were still there!!!
