I was told that a person can tell if they are in an actual relationship when the two people begin to have disagreements. Do you agree?
I'm asking because this man wouldn't admit his true feelings for me, but yet he would become jealous and we would find ourselves having disagreements.

I don't think that's true at all. To me, relationships begin when you decide you don't want to date anyone else. Dating is over, and a relationship has begun with that one person.
