Singles & Dating - 22 July 2007

I like this guy and he likes me. However, I am not willing to commit at this time. We are both starting college very soon and I think it's best that we remain friends. I would honestly like being friends with him and I think he's a cool person, but I am not commiting to anything more than friendship. Although I have told him on several occasions to move on, he still has some kind of hope. How do I get him to get over me and move on and am I doing the right thing?

have a bf of 10months. but its seems he is so secretive. his family dont even know me.. only his mum... but wat abt siblings...n his child... i fear im not a part of him, he even went overseas for a a holiday, he changed our pic in his wallet. then the mother of his child -to be with the kid, and i dnt wanna be left here with a wandering mind... and wen im surrounded with his mates. he doesnt tell them who i am... or if not... they ask wheres your gf.. he answer shes busy at work... is something wrong with me?? hes getting mad that i ask him abt our future holds, or things like wil u go back with ur ex, he just laffs abt it. im not happy the way my bf is treating our relationship, cos he spends most of his time with mates and going to partys.. im thinking he may be influenced with them, regardless that im in his gf. where do i stand?

In Pennsylvania it says that the age of consent is 16 years old.... This doesn't make any sense to me. Does this mean that a 25 year old can have sex with a 16 year old and it would be okay if the 16 year old says it's okay and is not under the influence of anything? I don't know I'm just really confused on this and would like someone to tell me because if so then this law definitley needs to be change. Also, it should be the same age in every state regardless of sexual orientation.

So..there's this boy. We're in high school and he's one year ahead. We met just a few days before school got out and have now known each other for a little over a month. We hang out a lot one on one, and talk on the phone or online every day, and both know that we really like each other. We have kissed a lot, but nothing further. Yet we are not "officially together," we started talking about where this was going once, but what he said was, that a relationship is "a lot" and we may be expecting different things. And he means what he says, if we did have a relationship, he would take it seriously. We never quite finish and I don't know what to do. He's really sweet and attentive and intact with his emotions. Why is he waiting? If he just wants a fling, then why would he talk to me every night to see how my day went, and chat for hours into the night about anything and everything? He really connects with me and shares. So I'm confused.

I'm 19 believe it or not but the only girls who seem to like me are usually underage girls. Granted, i have no problem going out with a 17 year old girl, but younger than that is like, playin' with fire. The main problem is in my shortness and as I am short, i am usually more attracted to shorter girls so ya'll can see why i might have a problem finding a girl.

So is there a quick observational way to find out a girl's age? Or do girls not mind the direct question of "how old are you"? Mind you i'm talking about girls i dont know at all like a random one from the mall or somethin. Help me not be an accidental pedophile!!!

I was set up with a really nice girl the other week.
But when on the phone, it felt like something was missing, like a hole.
I recently went out with her to dinner and the mall.
The moment she hit the shoe store, she totally forgot I was there and instantly went into SHOP-MODE.
So nothing really clicked with us.
We ended up separating.

I wanna give it another shot, like a second date, to make sure if there's nothing there or we can spark a new relationship.

But this happened a couple of days ago, should I give it time before I ask her out or should I wait?
She's really sweet and caring, i have no idea what to do

I like a girl who apparently has no idea how much I like her. I've told her that I like her, but she has a boyfriend that is at bootcamp right now. She has been waiting the whole summer for him so obviously she won't break up with him for me. But she did say that she is attracted to me and would date me if she wasn't in love. I've known this girl for three years, but haven't really gotten to know her like I have since her boyfriend has been away. We have talked just about every single day for a few weeks now. We have awesome times together when we hang out. It seems like we have a strong connection together, and I would go way beyond to make her the luckiest girl in the world! I'm not trying to say i'm better than any other guys, because that's just ignorant. I just think that me and her would have the time of our lives together. What do you think I should do? Hi, just want to know what should we do if your future going to be wife mistreat you, looked down on you (saying that you don't have security in life) and ignore you when you want to ask about her well being (whether she has arrive home safety at night). Forgets your birthday and saying you are bored. She critics you and question about the relationship, also tell you don't bother to send her to work (she will take the bus) Should you :-
1. Dump her (it's difficult because you put too much heart in
it. All the memories you fond together, difficult)

Ok, there is this guy that I see almost every day. I have known him for like 8 years. We are friends. But I like him so bad. I like cry all the tme and this is why. Short Version. I met this guy last march, the first two weeks we talked & I had feelings & I guess thats when we started dating. One day of that 2 weeks I kissed a friend for couple of seconds & I felt horrible & told him I dont have feelings for him because I liked someone else. I felt so bad that I told the bf rightaway & asked for forgiveness.

Now I have been with the bf for 1yr+ & it was a struggle -up & down. He went to the army & I found out that more then half of that 1yr+ he has been cheating. I found out through the girl & she didnt know he also was with me. I confront him & he brings up the kiss with my friend. He says I cheated too & he forgave me & why cant I forgive him for him cheating. Not once has he stepped up & confronted me about his cheating, I had to find out through someone else. He did admit he made a mistake, but he's still bending the truth. I do not forgive him at all. Am I wrong for not forgiving him? He says we’re even but 2 wrongs dont make a right.

"Talked" to this girl over match.com for like a month and a half before asking her out to a baseball game. She said yes. I asked about one day to go, and she said she was going with her sister that day and would of course wanna be just w/ her. Then that day of the game she emails me and says she couldn't go bc she thought it was a night game and was at day and had class. So asked me to the Friday night game. Anyway, we meet up, I bought the tickets, she offered to pay back, I said no prob, we hugged, she basically insisted she buy the hotdogs. During the game, few awkward silences, I tend to be shy during new people situations. But still, she asked a lot of questions, laughed, danced, fooled around, we both were very saracstic at times. Made a lot of jokes, etc. End of the night, walked back to the train station, talked a lil, some awkward pauses, talked, etc, she asked how I was getting back after the train, my train came, we stood, hugged, said goodnight, the end.

I guess you've never heard something like this before. I have a special interest for dramas and I do play them well. Sometimes I test people by pretending that I've done something real bad and they always believed. Overall it wasn't so bad untill yesterday, I wanted to tell my man who has been very close to me, whom I love, that I slept with my ex-boyfriend the other day. He didn't get shocked because he knew I was a very sexual woman, but then he honestly replied that he wouldn't want to be intimate with me anymore and just remain close friends. I was so much into the drama that I begged him to give me a chance and finally agreed. We went out for dinner and were happy.
But then later that night I sms him that I had made all that up and he replied to me " I don't understand , this is too weird for me, I don't know when you're telling the truth anymore. We'd better just go in seperate ways" ..I am really sad and don't know what to do since he is so pissed off.Is this the end for me?
