I was set up with a really nice girl the other week.
But when on the phone, it felt like something was missing, like a hole.
I recently went out with her to dinner and the mall.
The moment she hit the shoe store, she totally forgot I was there and instantly went into SHOP-MODE.
So nothing really clicked with us.
We ended up separating.
I wanna give it another shot, like a second date, to make sure if there's nothing there or we can spark a new relationship.
But this happened a couple of days ago, should I give it time before I ask her out or should I wait?
She's really sweet and caring, i have no idea what to do

Ok I see what your saying how most girls do that. I understand. But again, its not just that, its kinda empty whe i talk to her.
I almost have nothing to say around her.
Its quite unusual

This is the cutest question ever ***. The fact she went into shop mode is not a reflection on you, it just means she loves to shop, probably more than anything else in her life. However, she put it above her attention toward you. I would ask her if she thinks you should try and again, just to make attempt to communicate so that you have no regrets. Tell her the truth, about how you felt about the shopping, and she will let you know the truth about that too. Good luck dear

Did she give you any signs that she was interested in you, or any flirtation? Flipping into shop-mode was probably a way of avoiding small talk or having to flirt if she wasn't attracted to you.
If you are going to ask her out on a second date, now's the time. But it doesn't sound as though she's interested.
On the other hand, she may have just been really shy, rather than disinterested. You might think back and see if she was flirting at some point during the date, and go based on that.

how can u say she is caring when she dropped u for some shoes well, since u guys have nothing to talk about and nothing in common why would u want to meet her again? u your self just said that there is a hole there and besides if u are still not convinced about weather something is there instead of going out with her and facing the embarrassment of her running off with a pair of shoes ,why don't u just call her on the phone that way u can probably write down stuff that u can talk about and if it becomes too awkward u can always claim that some one else wants to use the phone and hang up.in my view she is not interested in u,she probably did it as a favor for a friend.have u thought about that?

Why not give her another chance? Use some tact, but let her know how you felt about her hitting "shop mode" and ignoring you. Honestly expressing your feelings will prevent a lot of problems later on, and if she's not a complete airhead, she'll appreciate and respect you for it. If she just doesn't like you, it's better to find out right now than waste more time and money.

Jeez! That's awful! I don't know many girls who would do that to a guy. Sure, try to give her another chance. But you need to ask her about that and tell her how you felt when she went on her shop-mode. Most girls would at least drag you around the store by your hand. Don't wait or anything! Just talk to her, I'm sure she would understand!

Call her soon. You don't want to be involved with shoe shopping anyway. I hate it. Do something else for a second date. Go to the park on a picnic with the stupid basket and everything. Girls like stuff like that, and you can concentrate on each other. Why did you go to a mall on a first date anyway?

Hahaha! She instantly went into SHOP-MODE? I can see it's wrong on so many levels, lack of dating etiquette, bimbo etc.
There's no need for a second shot unless you are a himbo.

dont give it another shot. shes not interested. she made that pretty clear going into "shop-mode" on the FIRST date. girls no better if they are interested.
shes either not into you or has a serious shoe problem.
ps. why would you take a girl to the mall on a first date?

Its very normal for girls to do that in a fist date at the mall. you made the mistake of having it there and leaving her. but give it another shot anyways.
