No, 2 wrongs DO NOT make a right. You confessed to him about what you did. That is great. I am not saying that it was OK for you to kiss the other guy but at least you came clean to him about it. He didn't find out from anybody else but you. Do you really think he forgave you? I don't think he did. If he forgave you he wouldn't bring up your past mistake. Plus, he didn't go to you and confess his mistake. If you didn't find out he would probably still be cheating with the same girl. If the two of you will keep on using each other's past mistake for an excuse then I don't think the two of you should be together.

You are not at fault here. You did the honest thing by telling your bf immediately about you 'incident'. It sounds to me that your bf carried on as long as he could with his 'incident' and would never have told you if you hadn't met the other girl.
Also, yours was in the beginning of the relationship when feelings were still developing and lasted only a few seconds. He was fooling around for over six months. My suggestion? Leave him. We military men (AF here) have no right to treat loved ones like that.

SO not even...what he did was MUCH worse...he cheated on you for half a year, as compared to your few seconds...you admitted it to him, while he kept you in the dark the whole time. However, if you truly want to have a future with him, I think you should forgive him...but keep a closer eye on him. If it ever happens again, then end it!

You both did something wrong obviously, but you came to tell him right away, while he didnt, that was what he did wrong. If he thinks that it was alright for him to cheat just becasue you did, it sounds like hes not worth it, the relationship shouldnt just be about you two getting even with each other. I think you were right to not forgive him.

Wow, this guy is a master manipulator. A kiss, with remorse and truth verses cheating, with no remorse and lying = these are not two wrongs. You can not compare apples with oranges, here... the guy is totally wrong in this situation. As hard as it may be , I would move on... you should not have been punished like this for your error, obviously he held on to resentment. kick him to the curb..... he is over like grover,

You are insane for even thinking you should forgive him. He spent half the relationship cheating and his rationale sounds pretty juvenile because your cheating scenarios are nowhere near even. So I can relate but he's an idiot.
