I have heard people say guys act like guys when in the company of guys, and differently around women, not just their own women, but women in general. How is this so? What is so different depending on the gender of present company?

With other guys we will usually say some rude comments about girls, like there Brest size, how one thinks this girl or that would be in bed, and so on. As far as acting, heck guys will fart in front of other guys, if they have an itch they will scratch it, pick their nose and just act stupid. In front of a girl you will more than likely never see them do that. Unless they see you as one of the guys. We are a rather rude and crude gender, but I think women can be just as bad.

You make us want to be better men. Around just the guys stays with just the guys. I know girls do something similar, because sometimes there are leaks and you have a lot of girls angry at each other for spilling the beans about something that was really important to someone.

It's just men. You can't take it personally. I always know when my husband is talking to a female on the phone.
It's just like women....think of yourself. Do you act differently around men than woman? I know I do.

A greater number of men have respect for women in that they do not use derogatory terms in front of women, in particular relating to guy things.

Well allot of guys act different around girls because there aren't any girls to impress or flirt with, some act different because they don't want to disgust the girls there with, or because girls don't like talking about things like sports beer and fishing. Trust me you don't want guys to act like they do around other guys when there with you. Just like us guys don't want you to act like you do around your girlfriends when your with us. it would be annoying boring and put space and walls between the sexes
