The best thing that happened to me was the birth of my daughter.
I don't think about the worst and neither should you.
Hang in there

Best thing: The first time a girl told me that she felt the same after I told her I'd fallen in love with her. For about 36 hours, I had the world on a string, and I was sitting on a rainbow. I thought she was going to "fly me to the moon and let me sing among the stars. (I thought she'd) let me know what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars."
Worst thing: coming crashing back to earth. She is the absolute worst about calling back, and I go to school 3,000 miles away, and she keeps secrets, and I feel like she teases me. No contact for up to 6 months, and then out of the blue I get a call: "Oh Daniel, I miss you so much! How are you?" in that sweet, silky voice of hers. Man, she makes me melt like a scoop of vanilla on the asphalt in Arizona. Or at least she used to. I'm looking elsewhere now.

The best and worst thing that ever happened are in the same, the worst thing that happened to me was isolation, rejection, persecution for standing up for what I believe to be right, the best thing that happened to me was I cried out to god from the depths of pain and he entered my life.
