Singles & Dating - 18 March 2007

Okay I have been with my boyfriend for 4 years yet I have never met his family or even his kids! When we see each other he always gets a hotel room. Out of 4 years he has never once taken me anywhere, and when I invite him somewhere he always seem to have an excuse. Last week he was in a car accident and did not call me until he was out of the hospital. He claims he was in pain and his phone was turned off. Then this last friday his brother passed away and again I didn't know until the next day. The only reason I found that out is because I called him.

Something else that bothers me is after we make love he always goes straight to the bathroom and washes up. Everytime I try to break up with him he makes me feel bad and I always take him back. He asked me to marry him almost two years ago, yet he will not set a date. I feel like there is someone else.

Okay so here's the deal
I think that i may like my best guy friend. It's kind of a tricky situation though because we met through my best friend and her [now ex] boyfriend. My best friend encourages me to go out with him, and i don't know if i really like him or not.

He also sends me mixed signals:
he always says hi to me in the halls and stuff
he gives me hugs all the time
&& i know he thinks of me as one of his good friends

but on the other hand
he never calls me
he rarely answers my calls
[but lots of his friends tell me he never answers his phone anyways]
&& he usually won't go out of his way to talk to me

we always have fun together
so i was wondering based on that
if he could mabye like me
or if he just sees me as a friend

ps:
he has had some tragedies in his life and he doesn't really like to talk about them although he has shared part of them with me plus he has a brother with mental disabilites so could this keep him from wanting to get too close to me

is in love with me or something. it is alot of pressure and if we ever did go out it would put pressure on the relationship. its krazy the things he says sometimes. the other day he was like" you are funny nice outgoing pretty and pretty much awsome!" i was thinking, wow that is so sweet but a little much if you know what i mean. I sorta like him but i dont want any of this to get too serious. i dont like serious.(i think he does lol) Should i just wait till summer and then try it out? that way i dont have to worry about school and everything and we can hang out. (and it gives me more time to think about it.)
this whole thing is weird to me but i feel bad cuz all he is doin is being nice................................?

a year ago this man held me till i slept because i was still bitter about catching my x of a few years cheating(they r mutual friends)he was so sweet that night.I have thought of him ever since,i have seen him here and there throughout the year and at one point he told me i was killing him,but i always thought he did not want me and he thought i did not want him,i finally called him a month ago and told him he was eating me alive,he said it was mutual and he had no idea i felt that way and he thinks im so beautiful,but he started dating someone a month ago and its only fair to tell me,so i told him to tell me to let it go and he said he cant.I ran into him a couple weeks after and we were like magnets and started kissing until i realized he had a girlfriend and told him we had to stop,he again told me how he wished he knew i had liked him so i told him we would be friends and he put his head down and again told me he thinks im the most beautiful girl alive,i told him im not'that girl'

There's a boy in my class and I fancy him. He knows that but and does all sort of stuff to make me jelous. Everybody has noticed that. He has told to my best friend: "She is very cute and there's no problem with her face, behaviour, but she is so obsessed in school, homework and studies. That's what I don't like in her." What can I do? Hello all,
Please give me some reasonable answer....and please be honest? Am I ugly? What girls want??? WHat is the problem...I am 21 and I try already 5 years to find a girlfriend but no result...I even consider to turn gay. I think I am interesting...I mean I am intelligent, I don't think am bad looking, I have free time...I have money...but I can't find even a fat, ugly, stupid girl...

Okay....I am currently going through a divorce and the guy that I like is also going through a divorce. We meet a couple of weeks ago at my new job. We also go to the same church....we have allot in common and get along really well. My question is how do I know if he is interested and if I should try and pursue anything. I would like just to have lunch or dinner and just talk. Nothing serious right now....just see what happens.

the girl says to the guy "youre probably gonna get a gf and forget about me"

the guy says "im allowed to have girl friends."

does he mean girls as friends or girlfriends?
did the girl sound possessive?
and if she did sound possessive would the guy talk to her afterwards?

i met this really nice guy, my age, at this bar and we got talking, have a lot in common and a number of mutal friends. We got on the whole night and ended up going to a club together and saw more of our mutal friends there. We ended up making out and we exchanged numbers, and when i was leaving he asked me to text him. I really like him but i dont want to sound too keen or clingy. I also dont know how he feels about me and what he wants because i dont live in the country he does permanently, just for a couple weeks every month.
Please give me some advice on when to text or call him and what he may think or expect from me.

okay i wentout with this ---kid--- and we broke up after 3 weeks becuase he was driving me nuts but i really liked his cousin. so he asked me out and we went out and now the ---kid---is always talkin to his cousin about me tellin him and me evrything we both do. and he i sjust mad cuz i went out wit his friend in grade 7 and they all lasted longer than him. what should i do about this.
